I recently visited First Class Bagels in Deer Park, and I must say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish.
Bagel Quality: The bagels here are top-notch. They have the perfect balance of chewiness and crispiness, and you can tell they are freshly made. I tried the classic plain bagel with cream cheese, and it was amazing. The cream cheese was smooth and generously applied, complementing the bagel perfectly.
Variety: They offer a wide variety of bagels and spreads, from everything bagels to blueberry bagels, with plenty of unique and delicious cream cheese options. Their specialty bagels, like the cinnamon raisin and sesame seed, are also worth trying.
Other Menu Items: Besides bagels, they have an excellent selection of breakfast sandwiches and pastries. I particularly enjoyed their egg and cheese bagel sandwich, which was flavorful and filling.
Service: The service was friendly and efficient. The staff were courteous and quick, ensuring that the line moved swiftly even during the busy morning rush.
Atmosphere: The shop has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for a quick bite or a relaxed breakfast. It’s clean, well-organized, and has a pleasant vibe.
Overall: First Class Bagels lives up to its name. With their delicious bagels, great variety, and excellent service, it’s a must-visit for bagel lovers in Deer Park. I’ll definitely be coming...
Read moreThe first time I went there I ordered rainbow bagels with cream cheese for my kids and omelette with whole wheat toast for myself, well there was only one person before me it wasn't busy and I waited at least 20 minutes or more for my order, but I was ok with that as long as the bagels and food were worth the wait, well it wasn't. My kids said the bagels were hard and chewy and they put a thin layer of cream cheese on them, my kids didn't eat them, and also with my omlette being that it was to go I would have expected a knife and fork, I got none and they forgot the butter on my toast, lol for the money I paid I could've went to the cheaper smaller bagel store and it would've been better. I didn't totally write them off though I went back to get sweets from there bakery today and I figured there probably good, I got 2 cannolis and a rainbow cupcake for my 7 year old. The cannoli cream in them were really bitter it was weird I've never tasted anything quite like that after one bite me and my husband were scared we were gonna get sick and threw it out, it tasted like a chemical in it or something very bitter and gross, my kid was ok with her cupcake though but honestly she didn't finish it all either but she said she liked her cupcake. All in all horrible experience with there food both times I would never go back. No...
Read moreI live fairly close to First Class Bagels, so naturally I'll visit from time to time for a nice breakfast. It's one of those places that you walk into and almost get taken back by how much stuff is available. There are a ton of pastries, cakes, cookies, bagels, and pretty much anything else you could find in a deli, bagel store, or bakery.
A lot of the items available look and taste alright. Yeah, just alright. The food and baked goods are not really anything special once you bite into them, but I really don't have a problem with that, seeing the price isn't overly ridiculous.
The only major issue with this place is the service. On multiple occasions I've been given an attitude by the cashiers for any number of reasons, the most aggravating being their almost refusal to make a "Custom order". My custom order was a sandwich they had on their menu, but on a bagel instead of a hero. The mere notion of it resulted in a disgusted look on the woman's face and she threw a miniature tantrum before finally caving in and making it.
All in all, there's no reason not to stop by if you're in the area, but don't ever go out of your...
