Five Guys — Restaurant in Town of Babylon

I came in on a Friday to place a large order of 45 little burgers and little cheeseburgers. I was told on their website to place the order on line or to come in at the store 16 hours prior. The app wasn't working, so I drove 15 minutes to the location. My party was on Saturday early evening. The order came out to about 400.00. I tried paying for the order and the person behind the counter said he can't take my order. He said he had to call his manager and to verify. He said the manager said to come back tomorrow. The other employee said we can take his order and payment now. I said I'm here, I'm not making 2 more trips. Yet the person working the register refused my business. Both employees were arguing in front of me. No one was in the restaurant, accept a guy who had to use the bathroom. I have to say I wasn't surprised after seeing this unprofessional behavior. I said, "so you don't want my business, should I go elsewhere?." His response is, "we can't take your order, I'm not going against my manager". So I left and wasted my time with traveling to Five Guys in Amityville. Fifteen minutes later I called Bayshore's Five Guys and placed the order with them over the phone with Walter. He took my payment over the phone and picked up my order on Saturday and provided them a nice gratuity. They earned my business! Review originally posted on yelp - I have to bump my review down to 3 stars just due to how disgusting the place was when I walked in. The first thing I look for is cleanliness and how nice the staff is. I tried to sneak some photos so they weren't great but no tables were wiped - almost all of them were dirty. There were 2 tables where the floor was a mess, the table where the straws and what not are was a mess along with the floor below it. Ice was all over the mats. It just really needed a good sweeping and mopping. It takes 5 min to sweep I don't understand why it is so hard for some people. Wipe counters and sweep. We ended up not staying there to eat so I took it home to eat because it grossed me out. The staff seemed nice, I mean they're working and making food ALL DAY so I don't expect them to be peppy so I have no complaints about them.. just clean...

The food is fantastic, especially the French fries and the milkshakes. Some of the best fries I have ever had. The strawberry milkshake actually tastes like it was made with real strawberries. However, there are two serious faults with Five Guys. First, the prices are absolutely outrageous. $30 for 3 large fries and a milkshake is outrageous. However, the fries count is absolutely insane, so the fries' price is somewhat justified. Also, they forgot to start making my fries and shake when I placed the order in the parking lot outside of the restaurant, so I had to wait for over 15 minutes for my food because they completely forgot until I asked a worker. I may or may not come back. The food can take a while and it is very overpriced. But the food...
