I cannot even say enough wonderful things about Torta Fina from the wonderful workers to the delectable desserts which are beyond gorgeous. Let me start out by saying I usually hate all bakery cakes and desserts!!!! My family and I were celebrating a birthday on a Monday afternoon. I had a dr appointment which took up most of my day with traveling. By the time I got back to my home town 1 of the 3 main bakeries in my hometown closed up at 2, and the other 2 were closed completely to my surprise. I knew Babylon had a lot of bakeries. I was just praying one would be open. I seriously lucked out when I stopped and went into Torta Fina. Grace was the absolute sweetest, so helpful, informative and put up with all of my questions and confusion. I wound up going with a beautiful mint green French vanilla cake with custard filling. It tasted much like the filling of Boston creme donuts. I don’t think I’ve ever enjoyed a bakery cake as much in my entire life. Grace took it upon herself to switch the flowers that topped the cake to fresh flowers. She was seriously the best! Such a great experience and we’ll definitely be getting more cakes and pastries from TF in...

I recently visited Tortafina and was truly charmed by the warm and inviting atmosphere. From the moment I walked in, it felt like stepping into a cozy, welcoming haven filled with the delightful aroma of freshly baked treats.

The service was equally impressive, with staff members who greeted customers with smiles and genuine enthusiasm. They were patient in explaining the various desserts and helped me make some wonderful selections.

Now, let's talk about the desserts themselves - they were nothing short of heavenly. From the flaky croissants to the decadent pastries and mouthwatering cakes, every bite was a taste of pure delight. It was evident that the bakers put a lot of love and passion into their creations.

What's truly special about Tortafina is the sense of tradition and family that permeates the place. It's not just a bakery; it's a place that brings people together over delicious food.

If you're looking for a bakery with a fantastic atmosphere, top-notch service, and treats that will transport your taste buds to paradise, look no further than Tortafina. It's a gem that embodies the essence of what a family...

Torta Fina Bakeshoppe & Patisserie is the finest bakery I have ever been to. They’ve done cakes for me in the past whether it was my husband 60th birthday party or he had a simple dinner with his friends from work and I had a cake especially made for them. I also go in there for their fried jelly donuts. They are to die for and there’s a limited amount only on Sundays, which I found out which was great. I recommend them to anybody and everybody. this is the place to go to. The staff the owners, the atmosphere, unbelievable. I remember waiting on a very long line just for Christmas and it was like a place in Disney where they had three little aisles of people waiting patiently for their desserts. And a staff member became around and offered us hot chocolate while we were waiting how welcoming and warming is this place? There is no words to describe it. Must definitely try their Beach Cake, i’m a Keylime pie lover. they even make Whoopie pies. I can go on and on, but I’m not you all must go and visit them Again, I want to thank them for...

I usually try to support local businesses, but I had a disappointing experience here. I bought a fruit tart for my mother-in-law’s birthday, and when we opened it less than 24 hours later (after keeping it properly refrigerated), it was completely moldy. It was embarrassing and stressful to deal with at a family gathering, and I had to run out late at night to replace it. The staff refunded the tart when I brought it back, which I appreciated. Still, for a bakery that says everything is made fresh daily, this really shouldn’t have happened. I hope this was a rare oversight, but I’d recommend double-checking your items before leaving the store. In a rare occurrence, the teenage employees are a pleasure and were very helpful and apologetic. I have been to this bakery before with no issue, but I will be more cautious of this place in the future.

We were treated to Torta Fina’s French Vanilla Cake and Assorted Cookies. The cake, frosting, and filling were not overly sweet. The cake was denser than most others too. Very delish. The hot pink smears and fresh flowers on top were a very nice touch. Assorted cookies were soft and airy with a different twist than the usual. Neither of the desserts left us with the typical agita we normally get from cake, cookies, and other sweet deserts. The Chipwich (advertised on social media) was premade and frozen. We were disappointed that we could not pick the type of cookie used, only the Ice-cream inside. The soft cookie, as it melted, became very sticky while eating. Not very practical. Much better than our Dortoni experiences lately.
