I cannot even say enough wonderful things about Torta Fina from the wonderful workers to the delectable desserts which are beyond gorgeous. Let me start out by saying I usually hate all bakery cakes and desserts!!!! My family and I were celebrating a birthday on a Monday afternoon. I had a dr appointment which took up most of my day with traveling. By the time I got back to my home town 1 of the 3 main bakeries in my hometown closed up at 2, and the other 2 were closed completely to my surprise. I knew Babylon had a lot of bakeries. I was just praying one would be open. I seriously lucked out when I stopped and went into Torta Fina. Grace was the absolute sweetest, so helpful, informative and put up with all of my questions and confusion. I wound up going with a beautiful mint green French vanilla cake with custard filling. It tasted much like the filling of Boston creme donuts. I don’t think I’ve ever enjoyed a bakery cake as much in my entire life. Torta Fina Bakeshoppe & Patisserie is the finest bakery I have ever been to. They’ve done cakes for me in the past whether it was my husband 60th birthday party or he had a simple dinner with his friends from work and I had a cake especially made for them. I also go in there for their fried jelly donuts. They are to die for and there’s a limited amount only on Sundays, which I found out which was great. I recommend them to anybody and everybody. this is the place to go to. The staff the owners, the atmosphere, unbelievable. I remember waiting on a very long line just for Christmas and it was like a place in Disney where they had three little aisles of people waiting patiently for their desserts.
