What another wonderful evening at the Salsa Fresca in Bedford Hills. Today was the first day since my dog passed away. It was such a difficult week leading up to it, and luckily my whole family came together and made the most out of my dog Foster's last remaining days. Throughout this week, I frequented Salsa Fresca. While my family experienced very heavy feelings over our dog, I was able to bring home Salsa Fresca for them. Each meal is healthy and is made with love. Each time I eat my Salsa Fresca, I feel so comfortable and at ease. The quality and the care that the Salsa Fresca employees bring to the table is unmatched. I was so happy that I got to bring home Salsa Fresca for my family because it really comforted them. I am so grateful that I have the Salsa Fresca in Bedford Hills in my life. I work up the street, and I do have a stressful job. The Salsa Fresca in Bedford Hills has become a place where I can let the commotion of the day sift away and I can simply fall into a serene state of mind. I must give credit to Dianna, the General Manager of the Salsa Fresca in Bedford Hills. Dianna has such a pleasant and charming demeanor. Each time, I walk in, I am kindly received by her and her staff. Her and her staff also genuinely meet me where I am at; if there is a day when I am going through something, the employees check in on me. It is really heartening to know that there are people that sincerely care about your well-being like the people at...
Read moreI have taken out from here multiple times. I understand that in this post-Covid world the cost of everything has gone up and prices have risen across the board. It’s ok to raise your prices, but that should not affect the size of the serving. Went to get a fire in the mountain - which I enjoy. The person behind the counter prepares it - but when she’s putting in the queso - the best way to describe it was a trickle. I pointed out that she barely put any queso on the nachos and she asked if I wanted more- I said - you barely put any. She put another trickle that together with the first amounted to what the right serving size should have been - but I was charged $2 for “ extra queso “ now that makes these nachos a $15 meal. I was not even told that it was a $2 extra for that - had I been told that I would’ve said - no thanks. At the $15 price point, there are plenty of choices you can have from a real restaurant - not fast food Mexican inspired. This will not stop me from going back to the place - but it will make me think where else I could go for lunch or take out and make this the last choice. I gave it 3 stars for the because I still like the food and they keep the...
Read moreI came to the Mt Kisco location about 5:30 Sunday June 16th 2019. The food is okay, but the customer service was terrible. The middle aged guy behind the counter apparently thinks it's more important to have side conversations rather than focusing on what he's doing. As a result, one burrito was closed before it was finished, and the other had the incorrect salsa added as he wasn't looking where I was pointing. That second one was also lazily smashed together instead of being wrapped properly because he was looking at the woman behind the counter the entire time. One look down could have avoided this, but instead I ended up with soggy mess.
There was only one other customer behind us, so I don't know why the conversation couldn't have waited 5 minutes. I literally had to interrupt his conversation to ask for something additional. I was treating someone else, and was embarrassed by my own recommendation to come here.
I was a repeat customer, but no longer. Nor will I continue to recommend this place to friends and family. Since the staff feels like the customer doesn't matter, I'll go out of my way to Chipotle...
