Starbucks — Restaurant in Town of Big Flats

I'm in Syracuse. Came down to Elmira due to my sister being in labor. Had no sleep for 26 hours, and needed a boost. So we ran all the way to this Starbucks for some coffee. I had LOUDLY said almond milk with my order, watched the man make it and he put in whole milk. I'm allergic to milk and my Starbucks out here in Syracuse actually takes it seriously. I told him I asked for almond milk due to my allergy. The barista who took my order came over and said " you never said almond milk "- with attitude. When my step mother was right there with me and heard me say it and told the man who made it that I had said it.. Then the barista got all huffy and puffy with us and went on her " break ". I don't do the nasty customer service. I guess this Starbucks isn't as " dairy allergy friendly " as they advertise. NOT WORTH IT! If I wasn't watching him making my drink I would have been admitted to the hospital half way through the drink with severe chronic...

I guess I should be grateful we even have this Starbucks in our area. However if you want ambiance don't come here. Since it is part of Target there are a few tables and a bar. Right behind the counter where you order is the slushy machine...I think that says it all. As other people have said customer service is hit or miss. I have come here when only 1 person is working!!! So if you have 5-7 in line it takes FOREVER!!!!! Or they have 2 working and you in line and one goes on break!! However despite all that the workers are very friendly and do a good job of making my drinks. I always ask for extra hot and most of the time it comes to me piping hot.

Side note Even though your Starbucks card works here the deals don't always work. Meaning when you click pay many times their are discounts which they tell me don't work at the Target locations. So...

The baristas at this Starbucks were very friendly and eager to provide the best service possible. I visited this Starbucks while on a roadtrip with my family and there was a miscommunication about a drink (a relative thought she ordered a warm Matcha drink but it was iced). The barista, Reka, very kindly offered to remake the drink and was very happy to do so. This greatly contributed to our roadtrip because my relative was already cold and instead was able to warm up with the Match drink. Thank you Reka. :D
