UPDATE: Went in to speak to the mgr. Brief conversation. He, politely, explained his position of many calls just to get "free" food. Offered to correct the situation by giving credit of two breakfast sandwiches, which is fair. ......With all the crap going on in the world, more important things to worry about, but I'm glad they showed class and we were able to discuss things, rationally. Original post: GF purchased 2 egg sandwiches, with bacon, to go. While eating mine, I noticed that it tasted sour. I turned and asked if my gf's sandwich was ok, She replied, "no, it tastes sour, bad bacon". We called and spoke to a gentleman who thought the best solution was to go in, "if he recognized us, he'd give us new sandwiches, which is not good because it's about him, not us. What surprised me was his initial response of to "come in for more bacon". Why would I need more bacon on my cold eggs that are tainted with bad bacon taste? I stated that "there are many other bagel stores in my area and we come in 2-3 times per week. Knowing, or recognizing me is not the issue". Simple here. Gentleman should have, simply said "come on in, new sandwich or refund, we'll take care of you". In my opinion, bad business to offer us new bacon if he doesn't recognize us, new sandwich if he recognizes us! We plan on going back in to speak with the manager/owner to give them an opportunity to explain or help us understand their position, before recommending to my friends and associates that the establishment should not be frequented. I'm not in the habit of posting reviews, so if i have a post, I feel, very, strongly...
Read moreIf I could give this business a zero I most definitely would. The location itself is semi-decent. The food is overpriced and low quality. The owner has too much free time on his hands; he sits around all day reporting cars in the parking lot while his staff are overworked and underpaid. I have been to this establishment multiple time(s) hoping it would get better, but my experience has gotten worse overall. The owner literally got my vehicle towed when I was outside with my one-year-old. I asked to speak to the owner as to why he had my vehicle towed and he blankly refused to speak to me. He claims that his business had "designated parking." even though it's a public parking lot. I was I was extremely inconvenienced as I had no car seat for my baby, and I was literally stranded (not to mention outside); with little to no resource. I had to get someone to watch my child and I had to almost resort to hitchhiking due to the fact that my phone was about to die. I disappointed in this business and owner ; plus his outlook and attitude on how customers are supposed to be treated. Very entitled and rude man. In general, and I do not recommend going here. Please support a business that is...
Read moreWell I don’t usually write reviews but I had to do this one . We are all aware of the rising cost of food and basically everything around us today but there is a difference in raising the cost of your menu and approaching ridiculous pricing or in another words “Rip Off” This place is now robbing you !! Today I ordered a turkey sandwich & a drink $18.00 … the drink in the refrigerator was warm so I asked for a cup of ice and I was told there was a charge for ice .50 cents. Now I can certainly afford .50 cents more but that is the first time in my life I was ever told you had to pay for a cup of ice …. Ridiculous ! And watch out if you order potato salad with your sandwich because it’s $10.00 a pound Yes $10.00 a pound for a piece of potato with some mayo on it ??($2.50 a quarter pound) Ridiculous! They politely over charge you for everything! Pretty soon they are going to charge you to sit down at a table to eat ! Been going there for 10 years won’t be going back. There are bagel stores everywhere… this one needs to know everyone in the neighborhood is aware of what they are doing. Word is getting around...
