Ichiban — Restaurant in Town of Brookhaven

By far best I’ve ever ordered from when comes to Chinese and or Japanese takeout.. And I ordered yesterday lol I was hoping they were open later today but completely understand (That’s my fault lol) but if you EVER want the best chicken and broccoli or salmon sushi/cream cheese/ avocado it’ll change your life lol.. Their egg drop wonton soup, spring roll, I mean there’s not a THING I’ve ordered and said “eh this is okay” it’s always WOW.. And they’re not only the nicest and polite, especially if go in but over phone even! it’s amazing how fast they deliver!! The chicken and broccoli and egg drop wonton soup will be PIPING hot when get it we almost joke they must have an oven in the car cause it’s impossible this fresh lol... They’ve been the best since moved to port Jeff over 2 years ago and not ONCE I don’t care if ordered right before closing and I know I’m a pain in the butt Or 4-5 pm lol the quality and freshness doesn’t change, they deserve legit 5 stars across the board if anyone ever gives it anything else I’m sorry but you’re insane, and their pricing is AMAZING as a customer and consistently the same quality food no matter time of day or year time of year lol order like said this place should be EASILY number 1 in area... Food is so good there isn’t anything to take picture of 🤣🤦🏻‍♂️ If able leave or add to this next time I get I will, avocado ALWAYS fresh FRESH not a single brown spot etc salmon etc like said I can go on and on, too many people complain about other spots I always believe give places their flowers when deserved.. they’re one that’s MORE than deserving, after you order you want to call up and thank them for how great their food is let alone the service and how nice they are as people which is unfortunately rare these...

We have been ordering delivery from here two to three times a month for years. Service has been getting consistently worse but it was convenient and the food is usually very good. I was weirded out but tried again after the delivery guy knocked on my teen daughter's window rather than ringing the door bell. I was annoyed but let it slide when the delivery guy insisted on payment after I had paid over the phone and found it had still been pulled from my bank account and took two days to replace. But tonight was the last straw. The food came but was wrong. I called and was told that no that was what I ordered. I said no, we don't eat pork or beef and certainly not on a Friday during Lent. After talking to three people, each nastier than the prior I was told that they would bring what I ordered but I had to have the other food ready to be returned and pay an extra $1 because that was the difference between what I ordered and what they charged. I said just refund me for the wrong part of the order and they said they would come pick up the wrong food but I would also have to return the California roll that came free with the $50 order. At that point I decided to have them bring them the right food and gave them the wrong food.It was just bizarre. I spend $100 to $200 at this place a month and was treated horribly. It was almost comical. ...

The staff are very rude, very unprofessional to the point we got up and walked out on our 2nd visit to this so called Restaurant. By chance we came across this place as we originally were seeking lunch at Zorba the Greek, however, the cc machine was down so noticing Sushi (which we love so much) was right "next door", we took a stab at it. OUR EXPERIENCE: The lunch specials are not specials, the staff doesn't speak English to take an order correctly, they place 2 people on 1 table when its extremely slow. They complain about their tip which mind you should be happy they even get one, then tell you they cant make you something that you surely can get at any Sushi Restaurant, then have the nerve to tell you they "can" make it but its going to be MORE MONEY!!! Seemed to us, they have a job working there chasing out business rather then making it!!! Out of all the people we know, we would never refer anyone to eat here ever as for the same $ if not less you can eat at a numerous excellent Sushi Restaurants locally with STAFF THAT APPRECIATE YOUR...
