I recently attended a private party at Daisys and I could not have been more impressed. It was my first time there and everything from the decor of the place to the service to the food was top notch. The party was in a roped off private room in the back. We had plenty of room and could move around and talk to the other guest comfortable and easily.
Started with appetizers for the table and each was better than the last. Apps ranged from fresh and light tuna wontons, to an absolutely addicting Tennessee chicken dip and sweet and savory captain crunch chicken strips. Loved them all.
Entrees were served buffet style. There were big serving trays of creamy mac and cheese topped with homemade pulled pork, rice bowl with Birria, Greek falafel pitas and make your own Nashville hot chicken sandwich bar. This was not your typical buffet food with each of these delicious dishes also served on their regular menu.
I could have been rolled out of there at that point but had to sample the snicker pie as well as the pecan pie and couldn’t pass on a giant warm cookie with ice cream.
I loved the decor and they had Karaoke which a few of a party participated in. They also have live music multiple nights a week. The whole vibe was Just a whole lot of fun all around. Great place to come for dinner, drinks or host a party. Will definitely be back...
Read moreThe minute I walked in, the floor was sticking to my shoes and I don't mean just one area either. I mean everywhere I walked, I was forced to pry my feet from the floor.
When I finally got my order and paid, I was expecting to get all the change owed to me since they force you to pay by cash or charge you extra for using credit (that's the whole "Cash is King" joke). Instead I got a "rough estimate" of the money with the rest they decided to pocket for themselves which wasn't a big deal since I had planned initially to give them the rest as a tip but after seeing that, I didn't bother and kept the money I got. After I finally brought the food home and ate it, I realized this food was no where near the quality of Hot Chicken Mama (and some of the other local places in the area) which is only a little while down from where they are and you pay a lot less for that food.
Do yourself a favor. Unless you are desperate for food, go to some other place for your Nashville Chicken fix. Many of the other restaurants do the recipe far better and Hot Chicken Mama does it even better for far less and they don't punish you for using a credit...
Read moreMy wife and I went for a late lunch/early dinner. We have been meaning to go there for awhile (this was our first time). The food and service was excellent!!! My wife had the Tomato Basil soup and we shared the Nashville Hot Wings (well done, sauce on the side) and Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich. The food was prepared to perfection!! My wife commented about how good the soup was several times. Early in our meal, my wife had to take a phone call and was away from the table for a little bit. The owner Brian (who came over to our table earlier to introduce himself and checked back on us later) noticed my wife was away for a little bit and offered to reheat her soup so it wouldn't be cold when she came back. THAT is service! Very happy with everything, although my one disappointment is that we didn't come here sooner! Thank you to Brian, the kitchen, and the wait staff for great food and service!
Forgot to mention my wife had one of the IPAs (she couldn't remember which). Enjoyed it and noted how clean and fresh it tasted. Some places you get tap beer and you can tell the taps need to be cleaned. Not...
