This local Domino's is good. The pizza comes to us the way it's supposed to about 95% of the time. They do their best to make sure that you're getting exactly what you ordered in the way you ordered it, nothing less and nothing more. There was this one time where they called us because they were apparently confused when they saw that half of one of our pies was to have no cheese so they were asking if we wanted provolone on that half instead of mozzarella so I had to tell them that we didn't want any cheese on that half and then they made good on that and didn't do it. I appreciate the fact that they called to clarify so points for that. I did have to take off a star for this one night where we ended up having to call corporate for poor service and at the end of it we got 2 hand tossed pizzas for free. It's a long story I won't go into details but all in all they were having a bad night and we were having a bad night, almost convincing us to go to one of several local pizza places the next time we wanted pizza. Another reason why I took off a star was the fact that they charge $4.49 for their delivery fee meanwhile gas isn't that much per gallon. We only live about 7 minutes away (3 miles). To me, it feels like a convenience fee in addition to their soda which is $3.25. That's ridiculous, especially if you know that you could go right across the highway to 7 Eleven and get 2 of them for about the same price or go to a Handy Pantry that have sales on Coke or Pepsi all the time. I also had to take off another star because one time when we called the store to place an order and give them our account information so that we can have our order credited towards a free pizza and they said that it will be added to our account in about 24 hours and it was never credited. On their pizza boxes mentioned that you get points towards a free pie with any way you order so that's like false advertisement. In conclusion, they give you what you want when you want it, just make sure there's no errors in your order and you're good and of course try to order online and not over the phone if you want to get closer to getting a free pizza since there's a good chance you won't with this store. Also unless you can't get to your local Handy Pantry or 7 Eleven to buy soda then buy it from them otherwise don't bother since they'll price...
Read moreI would give 0 stars if I could. A pain to get them to deliver though they have no complaints about delivering 3 blocks down my road (im closer to the ONLY ENTERANCE into and out of my neighborhood) and they have been delivering to us for years. Even though they deliver over an hour late. We'd order from this horrible location. And actually paid for the failed abortion that they would deliver.
I have had numerous orders that were missing items, inadequately made food (no extra topings, missing drinks, missing icings/sauces) and I personally have stopped coming here.
The reason for my complaint now is that my family has people over for football and people are drinking (aka unable to drive) and we wanted delivery. After going through the robot order machine twice (aka not a person), they turn around and say they can't deliver to my address. Im again confused because they have delivered here for years.
My advice to anyone, find another dominos that is equally close to your location and order carry out. Shirley Dominos doesn't have anything good about it. No good staff. No good chefs. They suck at delivery and customer service. Id spend my money elsewhere.
(Dec. 26th) Update: They called me, I assume to hear my complaint personally or compensate somehow (i never picked up), and they called on Christmas day. Regardless of what they were calling for, don't call me on Christmas when I am spending time with my family. Makes me not want to associate with the store even more.
Extremely rude and inconsiderate timing in every regard. Still not worth good...
Read moreThe staff is the best part of this Domino's store. Showkat handles his business well & food quality is consistenly fresh as long as you dont order just before closing time. I noticed the sandwiches taste fresher when ordering earlier in the day. They tend to taste like soap when ordering near closing time as if the sandwich was prepared while washing the trays; so don't order last minute :) The delivery fee is a slap in the face. If there wasn't a nearly $5 delivery charge & a $2.25 extra charge when you change your sauce from robust tomato to hearty marinara ( I personally don't consider sauce a topping, pizza typically comes with sauce & cheese, but they charge extra) from the corporation & if they allowed their store to put more sauce on the pizzas, they would have received 5 stars instead. Always skimping on the sauce as if it were being rationed. Why not allow free delivery and let the drivers earn better tips instead of being selfish money hungry corporate fat cats? Pay it forward by rewarding both the drivers & customers with free delivery & help make the world a happier place. Bottom line..... Corporate or individual store owners need to make some changes by allowing each store to add more sauce to the pizzas, not charge for changing the type of sauce chosen by customers & implementing free delivery. Only then will you earn a perfect 5 star rating. Keep up the great work Showkat & team. You guys...
