I don’t know why I keep going back. Every time I go to here it ends up being a very frustrating experience. A few weeks ago, I went through the drive thru which I was nervous because sometimes it takes forever. There were a few cars in front of me but it seemed to be moving along quicker then I had expected so I pulled in line and placed my order. I asked for the super greens and chicken mushroom. Eventually it’s my turn at the window…. I wait, and wait, and wait and wait longer. The line behind me is getting longer and longer. No one came to the window to tell me what was going on let alone take my money. Meanwhile orders are piling up as they are getting them ready for the people behind me….. Finally someone comes to the window and takes my money with no apology or reason why I was sitting there for 10 minutes! So I asked what the hold up was and she told me there was a mix up over the super greens. She said she told the cook to make them but he didn’t start them right away. I said I would have appreciated if someone told me about that and I could have picked something else or they could have asked me to pull around to the front. This is not the first time this has happened. I don’t understand why they allow this to happen and that they let the person sit there holding up the line. So then I go back again today. There was no one in line so I thought I would be able to get my food fast and get back to work quickly. Well that didn’t happen. They at least told me there would be a few minutes wait for the super greens and I said I can wait a couple of minutes. She did ask me to pull around the front which was ironic because there was no one behind me like the time before. So I pull around and I am sitting in my car, again, for another 10 minutes. I go in and again they said there was some confusion on the super greens and THEY HAVEN’T EVEN STARTED THEM YET!!!! I was sitting in my car for 10 minutes and they didn't even start them until I walked in the door. This is unacceptable customer service and like I said this has happened time and time again and it’s not just an issue with the super greens because this has been on going even before these were on the menu. I WILL NOT BE BACK TO PANDA AGAIN! It’s not worth the frustration it causes every...
Read moreI got to this location around 530, there were only 2 cars ahead of me so I thought to myself “sweet”! Perfect time as it was about to be rush hour.. once I was able to order, I was told there was a 30 minute wait on white rice.. so I said okay, we’ll do fried rice. They had me pull to the front to wait for my order. Once received I checked the bag and we were missing part of the kids meal. So! I hop out the vehicle to grab my toddler to go in quick to ask for the items. Well.. I was seen, but they proceeded to ignore me and continue what they were doing.. as I’m waiting a worker comes around the corner and KICKS a trash can into the wall and appears to be annoyed/frustrated. Coming from someone who’s worked in the food industry for years, that was incredibly inappropriate, and unprofessional. Especially in a setting where everyone can see you! Someone finally comes up and asks what I need, I get it, we go home. Once we got home, I wish I would have looked at the food!! The portions in the bowls were smaller, or even the same size as the kids meal! The rice was not fully cooked, crunchy, to the point that it was inedible! Mind you, 4 out of the 5 meals had rice!! Food was luke warm as well. What a...
Read moreI was iffy about going because of the amount of stars this place had but i decided to go anyway while starting optimistic. I arrived shortly before 8:30pm and was immediately greeted. With how close it was to closing time, i expected that they wouldn't have a wide side of dishes to choose from but they actually still had quite a bit, i was still able to pick from my favorite ones too! After i got my food i returned to my vehicle to chow down on my choices. I had the honey walnut shrimp and too my surprise it tasted fantastic. My normal experience with other panda expresses is that the honey walnut shrimp is soggy and falls apart. Not this time the batter was well intact and had a very nice, sweet, crispy crunch. Loved it! And then my second side was the teriyaki chicken, and it didn't disappoint. To accompany this i had the chow mein, it was a bit greasy to the point where i had grease dripping off with each fork full, otherwise still very good. Food tasted really fresh to me. I wil remember this positive experience and will consider coming back whenever i come to visit Appleton...
