Uncle Mike's Kringle Shoppe — Restaurant in Town of Buchanan

Stopped to get ice cream cups, there was no warm welcome or greeting as we entered the shoppe which is the opposite of the other Uncle Mikes location.

We weren't offered samples or the free cookie as posted on social media.

It was hard not to notice that our ice cream cups were a little sparse in comparison to other guest cups that were filled considerably more.

Our ice cream cups had only one scoop of ice cream for $3.61 , the charge slip indicates its for 4oz of ice cream. I guess I might be expecting to much. You can judge from the picture.

Lamers dairy is just around the corner and they do hardscoop cones in a waffle and its $4.

When we stopped at 6:15 we asked to get the free cookie since it's posted on social media We were told that they were out of cookies? A bit disappointing as the shoppe doesn't close until 8pm. It was only 6:15 so baking more cookies would be a good idea. Or add to the social media post that it's only while supplies last which still would be odd as the menu is already limited at this location so supply and demand should be easier to meet. However I might be expecting to much.

There were 3 employees working yet there was practically nothing in the counter top displays and no products in the below display cabinets either. Very unusual visit, it's like the shoppe was already set to close for the night and it was only 6:15....if your supposed to be open until 8pm then you should keep display cabinets stocked otherwise it an empty store front that is selling ice cream and needless to say the ice cream serving would not...

employees were very nice and the service was great. Have had the coffee at the original appleton location and this location matches that!! Love the new design too very fun...
