Went here last night with a large party (13 people). We had spent the better part of 45 minutes at another place a steakhouse in the same shopping center) getting the absolute runaround from them. When the manager was finally alerted it was now an hour wait and with having to be split between 2 tables. So, no. Called Red Robin to see if they could handle, they could. The hostess answering the phone was skind and sweet and very understanding of the situation.
These people literally bent over backwards to accommodate us. In 20 minutes we had a table for all of us. On a Saturday night. They brought my son a soda and offered us fries while literally waiting. Got seated by the manager Ginger, and Caitlyn(sp?) took care of us efficiently and wonderfully. The food was great, hot and fresh and everyone's order was correct and came out for all 13 of us in under 5 minutes from first plate to 13th. Drinks were never empty, fries were brought when we sat down to tide us over which was super awesome of Ginger and crew.
I got the madlove burger, was great, loved the candied bacon and jalapeno sauce, great mix with all the cheeses and avacado. Everyone seemed to enjoy the food and like almost no one took food home (I did take some cake and fries for the kiddo on the journey home as it was a hour and half drive and yeah 11 year olds eat lol). The donut stack is freaking awesome, fluffy and very hot but not greasy and just was great way to end dinner.
All in all, not a better time could have been had for us and we are very thankful that we had such outstanding service. If could give more...

I took a walk. No customers at bar. Two girls behind bar that looked clueless fumbling around. Not sure what was going on. All this time the manager on duty was busing tables even though they had buss people working. Why wasn't the manager helping out the bartenders? Asked about the salad, reply we received was, "Oh, you want that first?".....ummmm, yeah. Manager comes over to apologize, and asks if there's any we need. Two empty beverages right in front of him. We kindly ask him for refills. He brings them back, but leaves the empty glasses!! Food comes out. They give me a burger I did not order. I point that out, the food runner goes to check on it. Comes back and says it was punched in wrong, could I show her what I ordered. I do. Manager comes over again, apologizes. Brings burger out when it's done, looks like garbage. Just a few cold fries and little bits of old fries. Really? Plate was dirty. No one ever came back to check on anything or offer any refills. Manger comes over again at the end of the meal. We point out no one ever came back. Floors were slimy and slippery. This place isn't that big. It really wasn't that busy. It shouldn't be that hard to run. Good thing a 5 Guys isn't too close. Read moreMy family and I usually enjoy going to Red Robin, especially for birthdays. We usually do call aheads a couple of days in advance and it usually works out great. This time was different and disappointing. I called this past Thursday to get seating arrangements for today to celebrate two of my kid's birthdays. I was told that due to Veterans Day being today that it may be a bit of a wait even though we did a call ahead which was understandable due to the holiday. I called about 30 minutes before we were told we could arrive and was told that we couldn't sit together. I was asked what time I would get there and I said 2:30. I was then told it would still be a bit of a wait which was fine and they said that they would do their best to get it all set. When we got there, we were told that we couldn't be accommodated and there weren't even any apologies for ruining my kid's birthdays, the manager wasn't very nice about it either. Probably a race thing, but whatever. We ended up going to a nearby restaurant and we're immediately accommodated and received excellent service even though they had free Veterans Day deals as well. Two people in my party are veterans and we're very happy. My kid's ended up having a great time. We will never visit the Camillus location again. We live close by so it's convenient.
