My family and I came in for dinner after a movie. We have tried the noodle house in north Syracuse it’s one our faves and this location was our first time. When it came down to seating we were sat right next to the door (last resort seating) when there were other tables available it w when there were guests coming in and out basically elbow to elbow with us it’s not the first choice seating especially when they were other tables available. The service wasn’t great although they were nice but not conscious at all we were certainly not the audience they were catering to clearly. My husband accidentally spilled his water we told the server it took quite a few minutes for her to get napkins because she was waiting to seat another party which honestly they could’ve waited two minutes (we were seated next to the bar too and it’s not that far of a walk) while that happened another server was trying to place our food on a wet table totally oblivious to the fact it was a wet table also did not refill our glasses. It was not busy it was usual dinner crowd and they had more than enough hands to clean tables and provide the best service and also reading the room meaning it takes more the customer service to please read the room. As a former server of 15 years I know when a table isn’t happy even if they tell different because of being polite, make the conscious effort it’s not just eating out it’s an experience and it wasn’t a great one for us. Now the food wasn’t great the pho we could tell they cut corners and usually traditionally they don’t put all those sprouts or basil in the broth it’s on the side because we’re family from Southeast Asia it was definitely not what we were expecting at all. Would we come back no not recommend this location if you want Vietnamese food go to the noodle house in north Syracuse or new century on...
Read more(The egg rolls come with 4 and the dumplings with 8, but my family already grabbed them before the picture) This restaurant is amazing!! First off, it's easy to get too. The location is great! The seating area reminds me of an early 2000s restaurant, I have no idea why. When we came, all the songs playing were Michael Jackson! I love Michael Jackson, and was excited to hear his music playing. The servers were very nice. They welcomed us when we walked in, and gave us waters right away. The menu has descriptions of the food, so it's much easier to decide what you want! I'm a very picky eater, but everything on the menu sounded amazing. The food came out so fast. We ordered the pork fried dumplings, the veggie egg rolls, the beef stir fried chow fun, and the chicken stir fried lo mein. The dumplings came out first, and were excellent! I've never had a better dumpling. The egg rolls were fantastic, and the main dishes were amazing! There was a sauce that they served with the dumplings, and the main dishes, it was so good. I wish I could buy it🤣. The food tasted fresh, and came out of the kitchen piping hot. I actually had to blow on my food for awhile. The prices are a bit steep, but I think it reflects the ingredients, and the food quality. It's definitely worth it! I also have stomach issues, and this food barely irritated it! 10/10...
Read moreMy husband and I were not planning on eating out the day we happened to be driving past the Vietnamese Noodle House. We saw the "Grand Opening" sign and decided to check it out. It was late morning so they were just opening for the day. The young lady that greeted us said they had recently opened (first week of April). It's so nice to have new places to eat in Camillus. We were the only ones in the restaurant but it didn't take long for the lunch crowd to show up. Our server was very friendly and attentive. We ordered Steamed Dumplings (8 pieces), Fried Crab Rangoon (8 pieces), and Chicken Fried Rice. All came with a dipping sauce. Everything was DELICIOUS!! If I have to be critical of anything, it would be that I ordered hot green tea and was given a mug of hot water (only 3/4 full) with a tea bag. I was expecting a tea pot. On the way out, I picked up a paper menu so I could take a closer look at the meal choices. There are a lot to choose from--Appetizers, Noodle Soups, Noodle Bowls, Stir-Fry, Rice, Vegan, & Dessert. It's going to take several visits to try all of the tempting dishes the VNH has to offer! Can't wait to go...
