Learn moreDisappointing Experience at Dave & Buster’s – Walden Galleria
We’ve been coming to this location since it opened in 2015, but after our most recent visit, we will not be returning.
First, we noticed they’ve remodeled, but unfortunately, the changes don’t address the ongoing issues we’ve experienced. It’s unbearably cold walking in, and sitting at the bar is uncomfortable with the doors constantly blowing in cold air. Additionally, there’s no longer a welcoming staff at the front to help, which is a letdown. The service was a mess—waiting 30 minutes for a single drink, and while the staff tried their best, it was clear they were understaffed for the volume of people.
To make matters worse, the new machines don’t accept previously purchased cards with tickets or money, which is frustrating. The price to play the games has increased, and the prizes are hardly worth the cost. If you want to charge or check your cards, you have to wait in a long line at the Winners Circle, which feels inefficient.
We had a large group and started at the bar, but when we moved to a table nearby, we were told we needed to leave the table because we didn’t explicitly ask for one. Even though the table was unused and there was plenty of seating, we were still asked to move. It didn’t make sense and added to the frustration.
The bar area was a disaster, with dishes and glasses piling up—making the space feel dirty. And then there was the fight that led to the restaurant going into lockdown, causing some of our family members to leave due to safety concerns.
To top it off, the bathroom was filthy—no toilet paper, limited paper towels, broken toilets, and poor water flow. It’s clear that basic cleanliness and customer service are no longer a priority here.
It’s incredibly disappointing, as we used to enjoy coming here. But after this visit, we’ll be taking our business elsewhere. We’d like to find places where we can relax, have a good time, and spend our hard-earned money on a...
Read moreWe have been to this Dave and Busters many times. They now just have large machines to add funds to your card. I tried to use my previous card but it wasn’t working. There was a spot for an attendant but none could be found. So, I was forced to pay another $3 fee to get a new card, not cool. We decided to have some drinks while the kids’ played games. They were out of two beers we wanted on tap, cold snap and Yuengling. I had the Stella and you could taste the lines needed to be cleaned. Yasmin at the bar was a decent bartender. We put in our name for a table to eat. After about an hour and 20 minutes I went to check on it. The rudest hostess I’ve dealt with in all my years, Chelsea was both rude and disrespectful. When I asked her what her name was, she ran away. Then the manager Dion came over and also refused to give me her name saying it was company policy. I don’t believe that because they wear name tags. I was able to get her name from a worker who was walking the gaming floor. Dion was a little bit more professional but not much. Luckily one of the other guests in our party was able to have an amazing server seat us. Her name was Celina and she saved the day. She was bright, funny and courteous. Mind you during this time Chelsea was walking past our table with her shirt inside out so I couldn’t see her name tag. I assume that would be against company policy. Almost taunting me, you literally can’t make this stuff up. If it wasn’t for how incredible Celina was this whole experience would have been a total loss. This is your best worker and she is the most front of house there is. The other was the hostess Chelsea who blew it from the onset. Also, I had a reward to redeem for the meal but the tablet wouldn’t let me redeem it, the printed receipt wasn’t working as well. Bathroom messy and without...
Read moreMy friends and I went to the front of the place and there was no staff at the front. We were told by the security officer that we can just go over, so we walked over towards the bar and had to stand there because there was no one to sit us again! After 10 minutes of standing around, one lady told us to sit on the other side of room and they would be over there. We went over and sat at a table right in front of the bar. There were two bar tenders just sitting at the side and they were just talking and we could hear them from what is sound like flirting which is crazy because she was the same one who said someone will be over. We sat for an hour before we were tired of waiting and we called the same lady over, and she said “I didn’t know someone didn’t check on you” after that about 5 minutes later we had another lady come over and she said “I didn’t know you guys were not served” we were asked what we wanted to drink and we told her we had a coupon for free cheese sticks. We were talking to our server and she said we can get all of the stuff on the coupon for free because thats what it said. So we ordered that and 4 other appetizers, we then had to wait another 50 minutes, during our time of waiting a family of 8 walked in during that time and they were taken care of as soon as they were seated, they got their main meal before we got our appetizers, which was ridiculous that they got their food before us because we ordered 5 appetizers and they all got meals. After that we asked for the check and they charged us for the other two things on the coupons and made us pay for it. We weren’t going to give a tip because we waiting for 2 hours but another lady who wasn’t even our server was being so pushful for a tip we just gave them 10 dollars, I would not ever recommend going there because the wait for good food isn’t...
