Sushi Q — Restaurant in Town of Cheektowaga

My fiancé and I needed a late lunch after a long day of shopping, she’s not that big on sushi but I was craving it and saw the good reviews so I gave it a shot!

My point with the intro is I kinda had higher expectations from the start. In fact my gut (figuratively, not literally) tells me this is a 3 star spot. But after looking at the facts I can’t find a real reason to rate it lower than a 4

I will say you get bang for your buck here. Over 10 pieces of sushi for under 10 dollars? And it’s decent? I really like wegmans sushi but this is almost a better deal. But I have some gripes.

Is it fresh? I believe it to be. But is the quality there? I’m not so sure. I got the “spicy” salmon rolls. The salmon was mushy and a little sus. But I feel fine after eating it, so it might just be really cheap salmon. It also was not even remotely spicy. Not even a little kick. And wasabi comes with all the sushi so I shouldn’t have to add that if you’re gonna call it spicy.
