Le Rivage – A Perfect Pre-Theater Delight We had a wonderful dining experience at Le Rivage before our show. We chose the house prix fixe menu, which offered great value and classic French flavors.
I enjoyed the steak tartare and moules frites, both delicious and well-prepared. My wife had the jamon and melon salad followed by the sea bass, and she loved every bite. The service was attentive and the ambiance charming—exactly what you'd hope for in a traditional French bistro.
We finished with crème brûlée and chocolate mousse, both of which were excellent. A perfect way to end the meal before heading off to the theater. Highly recommend for a relaxed, authentic French experience in the Theater District.

Medium Rare – A Delicious, No-Fuss Steakhouse Experience in Watertown We had a fantastic meal at Medium Rare in Watertown. The experience is refreshingly simple yet unique, with a set prix fixe menu that delivers on all fronts.
The meal started with fresh bread and butter followed by a crisp, flavorful house salad. The main event—steak frites—was perfectly cooked and served with their signature sauce. The best part? Two helpings are included, making it feel like a real treat.
For dessert, we had the key lime pie, which was a refreshing and satisfying finish.
The staff was friendly, helpful, and incredibly efficient, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back again—highly recommended for anyone who loves great food without the fuss.

Ted’s Hot Dogs – A Buffalo Classic That Never Disappoints No trip to Buffalo is complete without a stop at Ted’s Hot Dogs. It’s a must-visit for me every time I’m in town. The charcoal-grilled hot dogs are unbeatable—perfectly cooked with that signature smoky flavor that only Ted’s delivers.
I always go for a classic dog topped with their legendary Ted’s hot sauce—it’s tangy, a little spicy, and totally addictive. The crisp fries and thick milkshakes are the perfect pairings, rounding out the meal just right.
It’s a nostalgic, no-frills spot with great food and fast, friendly service. Whether you're a local or just passing through, Ted’s is the kind of place that keeps you coming back.

Read moreUNION ROAD LOCATION: Just went there on 2/25/16 (customer appriciation day) when hot dogs were 1$ First off i want to say the line was out the door when i walked in. Probably 100 people in line ahead of me. I waited in line for 45 minutes to get food for my coworkers. Once i got to the order counter i whipped out my huge order. (18 hot dogs - 3 Orders of frys 1 order of onion rings and probably 7 different sauces and toppings) the workers laughed and said thats nothing! Sure enough it wasnt. They mowed through my order with ease. Like a well oiled machine. Every worker had a REAL smile on. It was crazy! Its like they were happy that they were getting slammed! I was very impressed with the way the workers kept there composure in what seemed to me to be chaos. They had my measily order done in less than 1 minute. I thought to myself wow! That was quick! Then i remembered the workers are still human and with all the orders ahead, behind, left and right of me that there was bound to be a mistake as the gentleman taking my order didnt seem like he was paying attention. But he mustve been paying close attention because he repeated my order back to me in perfect order just the way i said it. I finally got my 40$ order at the counter and said my goodbyes to the helpful and very productive work crew. I got back to my work van and double checked my order just to be sure. Everything was there! Not even a french fry was out of its cup! All the sauces, toppings napkins everything was extremely well organized inside the bag making my walk into work easy. every worker seemed like a robot. If i didnt know any better i would have said they were robots. That was by far the most pleasant take out expieriance i have ever had! I personally believe these workers deserve 15$ an hour. It blew my mind how perfect the staff was. EVERY FRENCH FRY HOT DOG AND ONION RING WAS EXCELLENT. NOT A SINGLE COMPLAINT ABOUT THE FOOD. Management... the crew that was on the lunch rush. Noon to 1pm was out of this world. They all deserve raises and bonuses. 10/10 i would reccomend to anyone. Ill be back as they have earned a loyal customer. Thankyou teds for hiring such perfect workers. And for appriciating...
Read moreI'm vegetarian, but I'm not trying to convince anyone to eat this way. I'm only leaving this review in case there are others with a similar preference who are looking at this restaurant as an option.
I was passing through the area and looking for something other than the usual fast casual places I normally visit. I stumbled across Ted's menu and while it's definitely a meaty place, it showed they have vegetarian-friendly options, so I went with optimistic skepticism. The restaurant was clean, the staff was relatively friendly, and they did have veggie dogs and (impossible? beyond?) veggie burgers. Unfortunately, when I ordered a veggie hot dog it was placed on the same grill, with the same pokers, and sat directly next to the regular hot dogs.
I know this is no different from the way that most vegetarian foods are prepared in any restaurant that is not exclusively vegetarian. But I still find it gross, especially when it's right in front of me, and when I can see that my food is directly touching meat products. Couldn't they at least section off a small portion of their grill for non-meat items? There's plenty of room there, it's not as if they don't have the space. Oh well. It's a small step forward to even offer vegetarian options, I suppose... but I won't be back.
I also got the onion rings, and they were also just so so... clumps of bland, overcooked batter hung off the rings, so one bite would be ok but the next would include an onion-less batter chunk tasting like cardboard - and not salty cardboard, just greasy, tasteless cardboard. Normally I like a crispy fried batter piece, but these were just... gross. Maybe I just caught them on a bad day?
Sorry, Ted's - I tried, but I think there needs to be some changes to your food handling routine before I'd describe your restaurant as...
