Wanted to check this place out. It's very open but the layout seems to be lacking. Lots of room not being used up IMO but Its the first thing I notice..about 5? Booths to the left and right tables in the middle. First time here and there is no clear direction on first timers on if I have to wait to be seated or sit anywhere so we sat at the bar. Tiny little TV in the top corner but not really a deal breaker.Food was pretty good, and I can't say about the service because I was at the bar so of course there are no complaints. I did however see people coming up to pay and make comments about how they were waiting and had to go,but there are only 2 waitress for this whole place so I could understand. I really didn't have to ask for anything- there was enough butter on my toast, they asked if I needed a refill. Only real real complaint was I wish at the bar there was something to put my feet on across the under side of the cabinet not just on the stool, and maybe a hook to hang a purse if you're sitting at the bar. A hook under the stool? idk. Just something miniscule otherwise it's a pretty nice and surprising good breakfast place to stop in for a bite. I did notice alot of older or elderly people here and when I left I walked out with an older lady and she made the comment to her friend how they liked there were no stairs so props to them for having their customers especially older ones or ones who have trouble doing stairs not have to deal with that. For the price and taste of the food I...
Read moreI am a stickler for a good diner and this one exceeded my expectations. I enjoyed a veggie egg white omelet with American cheese and the best omelets have tons of cheese and they clearly did not skimp with some in the middle and on top here! The veggies in the omelet were fresh and tasty! The home fries were outstanding! Fresh fried real potatoes with onions that had great flavor unlike some diners that lack flavor or use frozen potatoes. Nothing better than real home fries! I know it sounds like toast is just toast but it’s not and this wheat toast was still warm and buttered perfectly edge to edge. Everything was outstanding. My daughter had delicious cinnamon French toast and crispy bacon that was also delicious. My grandfather had the goulash lunch special and that was one of the best meat sauces that I have ever had! It came with fresh Italian bread too! The service was extremely friendly and made sure our drinks were refilled (my grandfather loves a whole pot of coffee and I’m pretty sure he had a whole one to himself, possibly a little more, with the amount of times they stopped by to refill it) and stopped at our table often to be sure that we were enjoying ourselves even with several other tables dining. It was an amazing experience and we cannot...
Read moreWe chose this diner over the other option because the photos looked better and both diners had almost 5 stars with multiple reviews.
We, a party of 6 entered and were pleased to have found a table large enough to seat us. We were greeted and served water as ordered, and very soon after our orders were taken. We waited about 45 minutes before asking if our table was next.. (we had to get up and go to the counter). We were told there was another ticket ahead of us and it was about another 15-20 minute wait. No one stopped by to ask if we needed anything, or to apologize for the wait. The thing that was most disappointing is that the waitresses were eating at the counter while everyone else waited for their food. (And by everyone I mean of the 8ish tables that were filled only one table had food)
And not to mention of the 6 meals that were served only one was hot, the others were only...
