Excellent customer service, helpful, knowledgeable, friendly staff, extensive variety of products, great deals on gas for buying certain items, they accept manufacturers coupons on top of their own BJ Coupons. Which makes their already low prices even lower. The wait time on the line is really quite easy, you might spend more time loading your things on the register coveyor belt than on the line, cause the big heavy stuff stays on the cart. They have several self check out lines, but I prefer the warm friendly cheerful staff at the register. The only problem you're left solving on your own, is getting everything to fit in the trunk after finding so many irresistible deals. The only way arround it is to shop online and pick it up at the store. Your personal shopper will pick out the best items on your list, the freshest best looking fruits and produce and check expiration dates just like you would. Then pick it up at the time you set up. It will be ready and waiting for you. Just dont wander inside, you will just end up buying more things that catch your eye and tempt you with a great price. Otherwise you will have to try and make all of the extra items fit. But with a little self control, its a pretty sweet deal to have a personal shopper do all the work for you, and all you have to do is show up, get home and take all the glory. So to be fair, I give them an honest review of my experience, to show them the honor and Absolute respect and recognition that they deserve. Thank You for your outstanding service....
Read moreI went to BJ's for two years and went to them a couple of times with a concern. The first time was about their bottle return machines at the front of the store. You opened a door and put one bottle in and closed the door and waited for it to cycle. You can imagine how frustrating that would become. I went to the desk and they gave me a phone number to call. I called and I was told that that the machines belonged to a vendor and they had no control on them. They must have thought that I was stupid. Really, you have no control on your vendors. I would have thought that you would have put pressure on them to change their machines to ones that other places use that are user friendly. The other time I went to them with a concern was about their price of gas. A number of times I could have gone down the road a few miles and got gas cheaper and I didn't have to have a membership either to get it. Their answer was that they send someone out every morning to price gas in a 5 mile circle of their location and price their gas accordingly. I finally got fed up with their answers and have gone to Costco. On gas buddy today Costco gas is $2.12 a gallon and BJ's at the store we went to is $2.42 a gallon. Granted it is probably 8-9 miles away but their is such a difference. I came to the conclusion a while ago that BJ's just doesn't get it. Maybe if enough people leave BJ's they might start to...
Read moreI couldn't agree with you more, I worked here and got treated like a criminal, they're very terrible people and hope this place gets shut down. I'm so relieved I don't work there anymore, every day was a challenge. So many other people have told me the same thing. They always were saying nasty things about me, making rumors, and has an awful HR supervisor.
This is a review from a former employee. 3.0 3.0 out of 5 stars. Average Wholesale Store Tire Tech (Former Employee) - Clay, NY - December 28, 2024 Management- The management was average. Being someone that worked in the Tire Center it was hard getting help from the managers because none of them were tire center certified. You were left on you own to solve your issues. No one to back you up.
The hardest part of the job- Most of the time working in the tire center I was alone with no one to help which isn't save. Also while working alone you don't have enough time to install tires in you allocated time (1.5hour) because you also had to fill propane and sell the actual tires.
The most enjoyable part of the job- There was nothing particularly enjoyable. The...
