It was in the morning on New Years Eve that I hit their drive thru. It was oddly busy, and that irritation was not lost on anyone present - I mean if you’re going through a fast food drive thru, it is inherently implied that you’re trying to move the shame-filled process along as quickly as humanly possible. Therein lies the problem - HUMANLY possible. If you have ever had the misfortune of spending any amount of time with a group other human beings, I am resoundingly sure that you have been party to, or have witnessed the eye-squint, headache-inducing “collective stupidity effect”; coupled with the formidable: “narcissistic-lone-wolf douche-canoe”; this is how petty rage turns into spiteful shenanigans. How many people - doing the opposite of the thing that common sense dictates - does it take to question what’s left of your belief in humanity? What I can guarantee is that just when you think you’ve reached that answer, one or more of Darwin’s exceptions will step in to shatter that mindset. But I digress... Despite being busier than normal and a few carloads of seemingly “confused” patrons joining me in the drive thru and staff that were just as obviously annoyed as I became, the food was slightly above-the-status quo. The menu board is arranged differently from other area McDonalds so if you haven’t decided yet, I suggest going inside to order or decide before you enter the drive thru - common courtesy is always...
Read moreWent threw the drive-thru and purchased food. When I got to the pickup window I asked which toy they had and if they had the “bumblebee” toy for my daughter they said yes I asked to buy one they told me they couldn’t sell just the toy so I told them that’s fine I’ll drive back around and purchase a happy meal if that’s what I had to do to get a bumblebee they told me I could do that. I drove around placed another order and sat in the drive thru and waited. When I picked up my food I looked in the bag and it was a completely different toy. I told them it was the wrong toy and asked them to exchange it. The lady at the window took the toy back and told Nick (I think that’s his name) he put the wrong toy in the bag. He then came to the window and told me the toy was random and whatever was in the bag was the toy I got. I then asked for a refund because I was told one thing and something different happened. He gave me a refund and tried to get me to sign a “policy paper” 🤣 sorry Mr paper pusher I’m Not signing anything. If you were by the book then you would have told me all happy meal toys are random and not told me I would get a bumblebee. I didn’t get the toy my daughter wanted, you didn’t get your policy paper signed, you wasted a happy meal, I received a refund, you received a bad review, make sure to read that policy paper so you know the rules and policy in...
Read moreSo let me begin by sayin up until recently this McDonald’s was my go to location before work for a snack. As of 2018-01-12 it is not anymore. I always order a large combo about two times a week here. That’s like 12-13 dollars a meal and when I receive my food I’ve always just asked for a barbecue sauce. I’ve never ever had an issue until last night. I get my large combo l pull up to the window ask for the sauce and the lady mumbles, (that will be 30 cents). I politely tell her that I come regularly and they just give me one. She then say in a smug attitude (well I’m sorry honey I can’t help you) this is after I told I don’t have the 30 cents I’m change. She then brings the manager over and I tell him that I’m a regular and that it’s always been that they just gave me one sauce packet. He continues to say it’s always been this way and we don’t do that. I told him like I did the last lady that I did not have 30 cents. You think at this point they could’ve just stopped acting like the bbq sauce was about to go extinct and just give me one but no. They will lose consistent customer that spent almost 20-30 dollars a week at there location just because of a 30 cent sauce packet. Nice job McDonald’s employees, nice job. P.s, this was night shift crew and manager. Not sure about day shift but hopefully they aren’t illogical...
