Went there last night with my family. We always love going to chilis as its not crazy pricey, and its super convenient. Last night we had 5 of us, (two adults, two toddlers, and a infant). First we got seated by the very sweet host.. The place was not busy at all as they also had a lot of servers there, No condiments on our table. Took over 20 minutes for any server to come over to us.They just kept walking by ignoring the fact we were there. Heard one ask the host if we were his, she said no. 10 mins go by.. that same waiter went over to another guy and asked if he knew we were his. Could hear them all discussing who was going to take us, and even after they decided it took another 5-10 before our waiter came over. He was a young kid, but definitely seemed like he didnt care honestly. Anyways, i work in customer service too, so i get it, let it go..finally we got our drinks and food served from other people, and never were checked on or asked if we needed anything else. The nashville tenders were tasteless, and not good at all. Sprite tasted like sulfur, My daughters kid burger was 2 burgers un seperated, and the bread was hard. The rest of the food was okay.. Fries sucked. Then we ordered just a simple one piece of the molten kids cake..5 mins go by, waiter came over and took our plates as if he was trying to get us to leave, didnt say anything.Still waiting for the cake. 15 mins later we had no sight of waiter, so I kindly asked another worker who seemed absolutely amazing, and he found our waiter who was walking in circles, and could hear him say “I dont even see it on the screen” So we instantly knew it was forgotten. Love chilis, always a good time.. but with 3 kids sitting and waiting for 2+ hours was insane… other tables were rotating perfectly fine, but we were definitely not happy with our experience tonight. We always tip over 20%, but for the service we got tonight it was sadly our smallest tip we...
Read moreUsed to eat at Chili’s 🌶️ all the time when I traveled with my cousin for years. Always enjoyed our meals and she loved their Margaritas! Recently stopped in to the only Chili’s restaurant within 60 miles of my new residence. We were seated immediately in the bar area at a high-top table. Chris greeted us pretty quickly and gave us menus even tho he was the only bartender and server taking care of everyone else already seated at the bar and at other tables/booths in the whole bar area!!! He was friendly, professional, and took excellent care of us!! 💯👏🙌 Friend and I ordered the “3 For Me” from the menu. Depending on which beverage, appetizer, and entree you select, will depend on the price you’ll pay for the 3 items. Friend ordered a Coke, the Chicken Enchilada Soup, and the Bacon Burger with Fries. Cost was $14.99 for his 3 options. He very much enjoyed his meal and finished everything. I decided to have a Lemonade, the Chips & Salsa, and chose the Cajun Shrimp Pasta for my entree (see pics). The cost of my 3 items was $16.99. You can’t really mess up Lemonade or Chips & Salsa (unless the chips are stale), which these were not. Everything tasted fresh. I could not eat my Cajun Shrimp Pasta because it was way too spicy. 🥵 (I used to eat it all the time in the past.) I told Chris about it when he brought me a to-go container and the bill. I also asked him for some extra lemon wedges so I could add more lemon juice to my meal to be able to eat it at home later. The juice of 4 lemon wedges really added a nice flavor and took away the extra spiciness. I enjoyed my leftover meal much better at home after I prepared it my way. The restaurant/bar was very busy on a Thursday at 2pm. In the bar area, all the TVs were on and it is a nice place to watch games/sports shows. I gave a 4 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ rating because there is always room for improvement. If I lived in the area, I would definitely give this Chili’s 🌶️ location...
Read moreSome places offer mozzarella sticks, Chili's offers mozzarella patties.
Placed my order online well ahead of time for the Ultimate Cajun Pasta and the Triple Appetizer. (fried mozzarella, southwest egg rolls, and the honey chipotle tenders) Total came to around $43 with tip, which seemed a tad bit steep at the time.
Arrived a little ahead of time and parked in the to-go, followed the directions to announce my arrival, and right at a minute after my chosen time I was brought my meal. I did feel really bad however, as the girl who brought me the takeout was limping pretty badly. Could Chili's not maybe find someone not injured to do the heavy lifting? I thanked her the best I could, but I still felt really bad since I prefer to just go inside and pickup myself anyways.
I do have a bit of a drive home, about 45 minutes, but even still when I got home and opened everything up it was all still warm! Very nice.
As for the meal itself, I couldn't find any faults. The southwest egg rolls were soft like phyllo dough with a wonderfully savory blend of cheese, beans, and chicken. The tenders were slightly crispy with a healthy coating of the honey chipotle sauce, and even the fried mozzarella was shocking for how thick it was. The pasta was also nothing to shake a stick at, very filling, lots of chicken and shrimp, and perfectly cheesy. I guess I was a bit disappointed by the rather pathetic slice of Texas toast they include, as it was really small and not crispy at all. But perhaps it got soft from the trip and being stuck in a steamy to-go box, so all I really fault was its tiny size.
Was everything I got worth that price tag though? Yeah, I'd say so. With only a minor complaint about the side dish that comes with the pasta, and plenty of good things to say about everything else, this was a perfect way to end my cheat day. (now, time to plan my...
