Michaels — Local services in Town of Clifton Park

So many wonderful things to look at but never enough time to see it all! I went in for the items to create very special charm bracelets for myself & my son's fiancée; there were many options in silver, gold & minimal rose gold colors. There was a large variety of charms, although there were specific ones I was unable to find, in the way I wanted them -- either they only had them in gold, & I needed silver, or there was 1 pig charm, but it appeared less "cute," & instead more realistic, which simply wasn't my choice. I also purchased numerous (~$150) of specialized stickers I plan to use to create memory scrapbooks for each of my children. I had a fantastic time in the store & also viewed Easter decorations, which weren't as enumerated as I anticipated, unfortunately. I do feel it's very unfortunate how they boost all decor prices, then offer big sales & savings, instead of simply selling them straight up for much more reasonable prices! I wish {for those of us who are always inspired to create the items ourselves} that the store would place the base items -- required to create the base decor they're selling, to the immediate sides of the item. Those not desiring to create the decor, can simply purchase from the shelf, whereas those of us envisioning our own version, could grab the basics right there & go home...

I have been going to this store for months now, spending hundreds buying Tshirts for our press business. It is close and until today a decent store aside from the lack of staff at the counters for check out. Today, i googled the store to see if it was open, drove the 20 minutes from my home, walked right in as the sliding doors allowed. Went to the shirts isle, picked out the things I needed, proceeded past a female employee or two and went to self check out, half way through scanning my purchases a skinny man in a non effective covid mask, came at me in a "karen esc" approach demanding I leave the store as 'we arent open yet" wouldnt hear anything, just want to project his power. He at first led me to believe he was a manager, until I persisted with issue, recanted and went to get the assistant manager on duty, who had no concern telling me my search was not their actual web sight, and told me to leave. Full disclosure I had choice words for both of them. Went to hobby lobby, spent my money there and was greeted with an inviting...

I love this local Michael's art supply store. I renovated some old Melissa graffs I had and the staff was very courteous not to mention cute and cool 😂🤷🏻‍♂️🙋‍♂️👨‍💻 they have the best Halloween stuff when it comes around and often it is on clearance even before Halloween this year it was 40% off because they had it since August they said. I love the stuff that they sell even the kids stuff. They have little science experiment kits that remind me of the stuff I used to do with my dad when I was little. I got things like a plasma globe or a lava lamp experiment as well as a planetarium type globe you build they have little science kids and everything.
