Somewhere between an iHop and a Cracker Barrel. Had an off day so I took to having breakfast out, stopping in at Jimmy's Egg which I drive by all the time leaving work and heading home. Today I finally made the trip just to eat here, and I got to say, I was not disappointed. Arrived around 10AM to find the place pretty bumping, but being a party of one gave me plenty of seating options; which was self seating so I quickly found a table in a corner. Within minutes a waitress was checking in on me and taking my order, going with a decaf coffee, the Berry Belgian waffle, and the Traditional Breakfast which came with a choice of meat, two eggs, and two sides. (I went with turkey sausage, scrambled eggs, hash browns, and a toasted bagel with cream cheese) Service was fast and I had my meal in less than 10 minutes, with a refill on my coffee shortly thereafter. Everything was delicious too! The hash brows were tender and lightly fried, the eggs were soft and needed no salt or pepper, the bagel was surprisingly fluffy for being toasted and had plenty of cream cheese to spread, and the turkey sausage patties were meaty and ever so lightly spicy. Of course the waffle was next, and what a way to end my meal! It came with just the right amount of syrup, plenty of fresh strawberries and blueberries, and a dollop of whipped cream. It was cooked perfectly, had a kind of hazelnut flavor to it, and filled me right up. Very happy. All together the total did come to a little over $30, a little steep for a single eater, but the atmosphere of the place was comparable to a classier iHop and the service was much like my previous experiences with a Cracker Barrel; fast, friendly, and efficient. So I vibe with the price tag. Finally I would like to say that Melody was a great waitress and made the experience all that better, even the girl who brought out my order, who was not Melody but I failed to get her name, complimented me on my appetite saying "I had ordered quite the feast." Thank you.

Hey guys. Been here on 2 occasions and the only thing I can say is the place is phenomenal. I live about an hour and 20 South Of this restaurant and I will stop here every single time on my way up North. On 2 occasions I've been here I've never had bad service yet. And talk about speedy. I think these guys are faster than McDonald's LOL. When it comes to preparing the food every single time I've been here the waitress is right on top of things the minute you walk in the door they are there to greet you and treat you like your family. So far I've had Mel and Valerie as my servers These 2 ladies are rock stars and I again have never had bad service bad food or anything bad in this restaurant. If you are traveling in the Clifton Park area or up North make Jimmy's egg. Your first stop for breakfast in the morning because it's the only place that knows how to do it right. And you must try the cinnamon roll pancakes they are amazing! As always have fun with what you're doing and keep it real because you know I do with each and every review. You're truly The real deal.

We went here for the first time this morning for breakfast. For a sunday morning, it was busy but we were surprisingly able to get right in. Our server was polite and efficient. We noticed on the specials board that mimosas were served, so we ordered 2 of those. They were big and worth the 8.99 they go for. The menu was large with many different options so it took us awhile to decide on what we wanted. I went for the baja omeltte which included avacado, bacon and cheese. You get to pick 2 sides with it so I went for home fries and a cinnamon bun. The home fries were fresh and you could tell they were made right there with chopped potatoes. The cinnamon bun was good however, I could tell it had been microwaved as it was a bit hard to chew in certain areas. My fiance went with the chicken fried steak. He enjoyed it-- saying it was very tender and juicy. We saw waitstaff cleaning and staying busy as we ate. Our server continued to check in on us to ensure we were satisfied and didnt need anything. Overall, the experience was great and we will going back.

It was my son's birthday and he wanted waffles. What's the place that's close to my house, thats open early so I can get back home by 8.30am to take a conference call and something that I haven't been to before.....the choices were limited but then there is this franchise that actually approached me for a loan while I was in lending. It's been more than 3 years since they have been open and I haven't been there....so today was the day. The reason I haven't been to is because they close early so they provide balance to their employees with kids (let them pick up or cater to kids after school hours). The food and service were good and efficient. We ordered berry berry waffles and omlette. My son was happy with the waffle and he said he would give them a 4 and I agree.

Update 9/2/23 - breakfast of the classic combo (2eggs overeasy, 2 smoked bacon, corned beef hash, seasoned home fries, small stack pancakes). All was great. Waitress was blazing thunder during busy hour but total sweetheart! Great experience. ***** Update 4/2023- still a solid place for food. I just dinged them as the burger i got lacked bacon and the curley fries were pretty pathetic portion wise and bottom-of-the-bag bits and pieces with only 2-3 normal curls to enjoy. They also have preened back the menu so for what is mostly a big breakfast type menu theres literally only 1 dish that is french toast listed and it takes a little digging. *Prior review* Watch out, great food and service comes with great big portion sizes. I hope you're hungry!

I got the biscuits gone wild. The portions were pretty big. For $15 I got this huge pile of biscuits with sausage gravy, ham chunks, shredded cheddar, and a side of home fries and two eggs which were included with the main meal. The taste was nothing short of wonderful and it was very filling for what I paid. I also really like how they use red potatoes for the home fries. The waitress Valerie was the most attentive I've ever experienced in any type of restaurant, and very sweet. Coffee was good too. This place easily beats Waffle House and Denny's in my opinion. I absolutely will be coming back as often as I can as I only live 5 minutes away.
