I have not been to Olive Garden for years, as I prefer going to local restaurants rather than chains. I’m also pretty particular about my Italian food in particular. I met an old friend for lunch today and this was geographically convenient and well known to her. I looked at the menu and decided before I got there that I was going to have the unlimited soup, salad and breadsticks for lunch. That’s just what we both did. The breadsticks were out first thing and they were delicious. Some of them had more butter on the top, but I went for the ones that had less. It actually seemed like 1/2 of each breadstick was saltier and more butter. I had the minestrone soup and companion had the Toscana. The minestrone is the one vegetarian soup. It was delicious loaded with vegetables and pasta. The salad was for family style, and the waitress. Kindly asked me if we wanted everything on top of it which included onions, olives, croutons Peppers, and not sure what else. It was dressed with Italian dressing and it was delicious. Soup and salad seem to be a perfect lunch and unlike having a lot of pasta or carbohydrates we were able to leave comfortably. We passed on dessert. One thing that I didn’t like was the terminals on each table to pay. I had a gift card as part of the payment and it was very difficult to figure out exactly how to pay. The waitress was extremely kind and helpful. I would absolutely return and probably have the same thing again.

It's like Dom said, nothing's stronger than family. Haven't been to an olive garden in quite awhile, but when I saw a new appetizer for stuffed ziti I had to try it. Also went with a classic order of the chicken Alfredo, which comes with two breadsticks and a salad. In total, I was expecting the price to be quite extravagant, I mean, this is a higher regarded chain restaurant after all. But to my surprised I ended up paying less than $29 for the whole thing. I was quite hungry on my drive home, and the smell of the food was driving me nuts, if nothing else I smelled amazing. When I did finally make it home and dig in I am delighted to report it was all delicious, the stuffed and fried ziti was almost too hard to not just eat it all the moment I got inside to test it. The salad was way bigger than I was expecting, but pretty similar to the in-restaurant version. And the chicken Alfredo was creamy, cheesy, and very decadent. Perfect dinner food. The breadsticks weren't up to pair unfortuently, even after doing the re-heat instructions, so the breadsticks are really only suited for in-restaurant meals. The last thing I want to mention is that there is no pickup option for going inside, only curbside, which is weird, but it was my first time using such a service so it was cool to have it brought right to my car after using their online service.

We had a fantastic experience at Olive Garden! We arrived after 2:30 PM on a Friday, and it was still quite busy, but the service didn’t miss a beat. Our party of four decided to mix it up – two of us went with the soup and salad buffet, while the others ordered the Tour of Italy and spaghetti with meatballs. Sharing everything family-style was a great choice; it allowed us to try a bit of everything without feeling limited. We sampled each of the soups, and the gnocchi soup was easily our favorite – rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. The endless drinks were a fun touch, and our waitress even let us switch flavors throughout the meal, which added a nice variety. Service was wonderful; our waitress was attentive, quick with refills, and friendly. Overall, we’d highly recommend Olive Garden for anyone looking for a tasty, hearty meal with great service. Just be ready for a generous amount of food – you’ll leave feeling very satisfied (or with some delicious leftovers)!

We love Olive Garden and normally have good experiences there. This is the first time we went to the Clifton Park location and it will be our last. There were 5 of us. We had a wait on a Saturday at 3:50pm...kind of strange but understandable because of the holidays. As we were waiting two employees that appeared to be chefs walked in and one of them was cursing up a storm. When they realized there were customers sitting right there, instead of apologizing they just said "oops" then hit my husband with the door when there was a whole second door they could have walked through with no one standing near it. Then when we were seated, our waitress, Sandra, opened by welcoming us and saying "I don't know my serving partner's name so I'll just skip that part." Kind of strange but how hard is it to remember one name of the person you're working with? Next, I ordered a strawberry lemonade and she brought me a raspberry. Maybe if she used that magic notepad that servers get to keep track of orders, she could have brought me the right thing. She then refilled my drink...twice...with more raspberry. Next, we all ordered our entrees and an appetizer. She offered cheese for the salad, skimped on it, then didn't bother to ask my husband if he wanted cheese on his soup. He had to ask for it. She brought us some overcooked crispy breadsticks that weren't very good. We had to ask to refill those when she could clearly see the basket was empty. In general, she was a slow server and we didn't see her much. My husband had to ask for more soup after 15 minutes of his empty bowl sitting there, and then she brought it out pre-cheesed - maybe a teaspoon of cheese in there - instead of offering fresh. When our food came, all of us had pasta dishes except my husband, and we had to ask for cheese for that too. She never offered. My husband ordered a steak medium-rare and it came out cold and more like medium-well. After that whole experience was over, we ordered dessert to go. We ordered some italian donuts with a chocolate dipping sauce. We've ordered these to go a million times and the sauce always comes in its' own container with a lid. It looks like she never bothered to put this as a to-go order (again, if she wrote it down she would have remembered, it's not like we ordered a ton of stuff) and instead threw it all together last-minute in a to-go box and put the ceramic sauce containers with the sauce in there. Consequently, they spilled all over the donuts as we were driving home and made a soggy mess. As we were checking out, she kept eyeing-us uncomfortably like she wanted us to leave, and she never even brought us any mints. The food was delicious, but the service is the worst I've ever had at an Olive Garden. I'm calling Sandra's manager tomorrow to complain. We won't be coming back here. Go to the one on Wolf Road in Albany or the one in...

I ordered chicken carbonara and a salad. It was awful, I couldn't even eat the salad. The first salad had a peperecini in it that looked like it had been eaten on. So I got another salad. The second salad had a piece of the core to the lettuce left on it and the lettuce itself looked like is was beginning stages of being rotten. So I switched to a soup. The meal itself has bacon in it and I had a piece of bacon that did not seem thoroughly cooked at all. This is not how a restaurant such as Olive Garden should be serving food to its guest. Now let's talk about the staff. There was definitely a since of severe discomfort. I could not remove my outer clothing and get fully comfortable to enjoy my lunch with my family. One would think they where paying is to eat there and for this horrific experience. Where is the health department to investigate there food practice. Even more it appears that they are taking the salads after they serve them and whatever is left they are serving to new guest. My salad had wilted lettuce, and the time that the lettuce wilted was incredible. Like I'm sitting here and they wanted to serve me there food that should be in the dumpster. In my opinion this place should not even be allowed to serve food they should be shut down. How many other guest experience this god awful experience. This place is horrible. If left to me I would never come back however my kids enjoy it and they really wanted to have happy birthday sang to them and they didnt even get that. What a joke. And the stuff should not act the way that they act. This is a public domain and people should be comfortable when they are paying good money to sit down and try to enjoy a meal. What a waste of time money and definitely a horrific experience. The pictures of my food I would not recommend to anyone. furthermore I dont and wouldn't recommend this eatery at all. I wouldn't of given that slop to my dogs or even the pig pit for the pigs to eat. That was not an...
