This McDonald’s in Latham Farms has always been the worst McDonalds I’ve ever been to, but the past few months have been downright ridiculous. Why do I keep going back there? I guess I just keep hoping it’s going to get better. Tonight was the absolute worst. I pulled up to the drive-through, and there are signs on the speakers that say sorry we don’t have any soda or frozen ice cream foods. I wondered why there was no line! I’m thinking to myself, this is actually great. With no soda available, there were no other customers in line before me. I’m figuring I’m going to get served really quickly, finally! So I place my order for three cheeseburgers, a large fry, and a small fry. I got to the window, the guy apologizes for there being no soda. I said that’s absolutely fine, I’m taking this food home anyway. I pay, and I go to the next window to get my food. I waited about seven minutes. The person at the window brings me a bag that has two items in it. One of them is some sort of sandwich and the other one is chicken nuggets. Clearly not my order. That person said, “oh, you had the cheeseburger and the two fries”. I said, I ordered three cheeseburgers and two fries.” The person at the window says, “Well you only paid for one cheeseburger and two fries. Do you want to pay for two more?” so, of course I have no proof of what I paid for because, they have no receipts tonight! So I paid for two more cheeseburgers. I proceeded to sit in the drive-through for 15 more minutes… Maybe longer. Waiting for three cheeseburgers, and two fries. Seriously?! Just unbelievable. So I’m thinking to myself, the upside is, my food is going to be really hot. Wrong again! The cheeseburgers actually tasted as though they’d been made this morning. Then why did it take longer than 15 minutes to hand them over to me? Unless they’re making them, wrapping them, and putting them in the refrigerator, and then microwaving them….?…I cannot think of any other reason why three cheeseburgers, that took 15 minutes to make, would be cold and served on hard, STALE hamburger buns. Unbelievably disgusting food. Next time I’ll go next door to Red Robin and order two cheeseburgers to go. They might cost more, but I know they will be hot, and I won’t wait any longer for those burgers then I would in the fast-food...
Read moreAfter purchasing over $60 worth of food in an online order. I went through drive thru line to pickup. After receiving food, naturally I pull ahead and begin checking through the bags to verify they had my order correct. - and to nobody’s surprise it wasn’t. -Missing 4 large french fries, and a double QPC. (Nearly 30% of my order)
So I went around again, and told them exactly what I was missing. And showed my receipt. Was instructed to wait by the 2nd window again…meanwhile the rest of the food is getting cold. The manager finally comes with with a bag, hands it to me and runs back inside before I could even look at it. -I am still missing 2 large fries
So I go around for a 3rd time, this time I go straight to the first window. And tell him my issue again. The managers reply is “you gotta be kidding me”, and instructed them to scoop me 2 more large fries.
-NO APOLOGIES GIVEN -NO COMPLIMENTARY ITEMS TO COMPENSATE MY INCONVENIENCE -NO OFFER OF A REFUND
Awful service, couldn’t care less about their customers, food was prepared mediocre at best. The line wasn’t even long, there’s no excuse for this experience.
I will be contacting corporate soon about this experience.
One year follow-up
Figured I would try to order food from this location again, give them a second chance. Which turned out to be a poor decision on my part. After waiting in drive-thru line for 25+ minutes, I finally make it to the pick-up window. Where a woman hands me a bag, "have a nice night" and slams window shut.
Unfortunately I did not receive the correct order, like at all... Patiently waited for her to come back to the window again, and ask me "what's the problem?", so I explained the issue.
Says "Well what did you order?" as I glance down at my receipt, she follows up with "You don't remember what you ordered?" and slams window again and walks away
She comes back with a bag of food, which at a glance appeared to be correct. But unfortunately was still missing a couple items. I had already wasted enough of my time, so I didn't bother waiting another 25 minutes in the...
Read moreStopped at the McDonalds drive thru this AM. Placed my order, order was incorrect on the screen, tried to correct the order, but, received no response. Was somewhat amused by another driver (in the outer lane), placing their order after I did, then she pulled up in front of me, while I was trying to get my order corrected. I wondered if that was going to confuse things, but, to be fair, we were the only vehicles there. Anyway, when I got to window #1 to pay, I wanted to correct my order, the cashier/manager spoke very low, I could not hear him, and I said as much. I told him that the order was incorrect and he started arguing with me, I still couldn't hear him. It was very frustrating, I kept trying to correct my order, meanwhile the guy kept talking over me (I swear he wasn't even stopping to breathe). I could barely pick words out between the garble. At whatever point, he identified himself as the manager, a manager that "had the authority", I'm guessing to refuse service, like I said couldn't hear. I did mention that he mustn't be a very good manager, I was that annoyed. By the way, I had already decided I was done with this argumentative young man, money was already back in the wallet. On the best of days, this particular McDonalds is slow, slow, slow, whether they are busy or not, but, the people are generally pleasant. Much to my shame, I frequent this McDonalds more than I care to admit. It will be some time before I return.Edit to add: after reading some of these other reviews, I will not...
