Yes, White Chocolate has no Coco.
Stopped in to grab some desserts for my Friday cheat day, finding a nice selection and agreeable prices.
Ended up going with a Strawberry White Chocolate Hello Kitty cake and the popular (or so i was told) Mango Passion Fruit cake, coming to just a little over $20 after tax.
Had an amusing conversation with the lady staffing the store, who I asked if the Hello Kitty cake had any chocolate. She said it had a little in the decoration, but after checking the package of chocolate used to make it, it was only White Chocolate, which does not have any actual chocolate in it. (just coco butter) When I pointed this out, she seemed befuddled, but i was glad to have assisted her in learning something new.
Back home I tried to Mango Passion, saving the Hello Kitty for another day. The cake itself is made up of many thin layers of cake, interchanged with the passionfruit cream. The topping was a mango jel, which was a little gummy, but had some good flavor. Overall it was a delightfully light cake with good flavor, makes me excited for the...
Read moreI wonder how this place gets so many good views? I ordered a strawberry Yakult a couple of weeks ago, and I barely tasted Yakult. I watched the Malaysian staff making it and the whole process is so disgusting! Unwashed containers piled up in the sink. The Malaysian staff barely rinsed container and started to make a drink for the next customer! She poured very little Yakult and added tons of ice. It is not worth the money. The most interesting thing is that this store is owned by a Chinese. This Malaysian staff does not follow the first come first serve rule, as she skipped a Chinese customer and served the one behind first. It is interesting to see this person makes income from a Chinese store but discriminates Chinese at the same time. If you do not want an Malaysian racist makes your drink without any sense of hygiene,...
Read moreThe staff was really nice and the place looked so adorable. First time ever coming here and i definitely will be coming back again! I got the taro milk tea and, as a regular taro drinker, this is the real stuff. Wish I had gotten tapioca pearls though it didn't have that option on the menu so I had assumed they didn't have it. Instead I got the lychee popping pearls which were definitely new. Too lychee for my liking but surprisingly doesn't taste that bad with the taro. Very adorable and appetizing cakes too! I've never seen such detailed cakes before. Plus the anime figurines on the wall are just the topping to the cute atmosphere this lil...
