We visited Marigold after hearing great things, including that it’s run by chefs with Michelin backgrounds. The restaurant is clean, nicely decorated, and has a welcoming atmosphere. It was busy during our visit, with a big group celebration and lots of families, which gave it a lively and warm vibe. We ordered the beet arancini, lamb chops, lamb biryani, seafood curry, garlic naan, paratha, and mango lassi. The lamb dishes were the best part of the meal—both the biryani and the chops were well-seasoned, tender, and flavorful. The small side of mango and potatoes with the lamb chops was a nice touch. However, not everything met expectations. The beet arancini looked good but was too salty. The seafood curry was also disappointing—it didn’t have much depth or aroma. The naan and paratha were just okay and didn’t have the texture or flavor we’ve had at other Indian restaurants. Service was friendly, and the space is thoughtfully set up with comfortable seating and a bit of Indian dĂ©cor that adds to the charm. Overall, it’s a solid spot for Indian food in the area, especially for meat dishes, but not everything on the menu stands out. Highlights: Lamb biryani and lamb chops Could improve: Bread and seafood curry

Definitely make a reservation for dinner!! For weeks I have been dying to get the time to try the food here... And let me tell you, it was so worth it! I was instantly greeted by my name when walking into the restaurant by Ashu. The atmosphere is warm, inviting and cozy and you are instantly embraced by the aroma spices and decorum. We ordered the Pani Puri Shots, and the Samosa trio for appetizers. The samosa's by far were some of the best I have ever had. The trio consisted of cheesy jalapeños, lamb and potato and veggie, and each were the perfect bite. My mom ordered the lamb vindaloo and I ordered the Butter chicken spicy. Both of our dishes were flavored perfectly, the lamb and chicken were sooooo tender and paired with the Roti - left me going back for more!!! I cannot wait to go back and try everything else on the menu. Ashu was an incredible host/waiter as well as all of the staff. Everyone was warm, pleasant and attentive to us. Marigold may be my top favorite Indian restraurants in Westchester!

Marigold, the new Indian restaurant in Eastchester, is more than just a nice change of pace from the usual restaurants in town. It is a masterful, creative, and exciting take on Indian cuisine. Without losing what we love about classic dishes, their Michelin rated chef has taken it to another level. I generally like Indian food but find some places focus more on shocking you with spice than actual flavors. Marigold has perfected spice levels, and their creative, perfectly orchestrated use of flavor. Every different dish tried by my group of eight foodies had us rolling our eyes and commenting “wow, what’s in this one?”. We started with the Beet Arancini, Eggplant Burrata, Mango Coconut Shrimp, Samosa Trio, and Lotus Shami Kabob. Let’s just say we were all trying to be polite but you can tell everyone was eyeing those last pieces. Then they brought out the Crispy Okra as a complimentary appetizer/side, and well, I always thought I didn’t like okra, but I’m a changed woman. Since we were dining at lunch, some of our group took advantage of the extremely reasonably priced lunch specials (starting at $14) and others ordered from the main entree. The rice was done right (believe me, some places can’t even do rice correctly), the naan was light and fluffy, and the raita refreshing. For those that enjoy the heat factor, the Vindaloos were a hit. But for those who like a lot less fire, the Paneer Kundan Kalia, Saag Paneer, Dal, Butter Chicken, and other lunch specials (I can’t remember, I was probably enjoying my own too much at this point) were perfection! And then there was dessert. Just when we thought we couldn’t eat another bite, we tried some of the Mango Panna Cotta, Coconut Phirni, and I can’t remember what it was called, but it was white, light, creamy and made me feel like I was in the Caribbean. Needless to say, I think I’m in love. I still can’t believe that this culinary masterpiece is right here in the suburbs! The prices are fair, the service was excellent, the atmosphere is cozy and chill. They cater to meat eaters, vegetarians, and vegans
so many options for whatever your diet. You will not be disappointed. Please try it. If this one doesn’t last I will be...

If you are afraid to try Indian Food
This is where you need to go. My boyfriend and I wanted to try something new last night and boy were we glad that we did because it was an experience. We typically enjoy Michelin star, five star dinners because of the flavor and delicacy’s and I am surprised that Marigold hasn’t won more awards.

Our server was attentive, the bar tender made our drink with love and even the bus boys were quick to clean tables and package our food to go. The service and ambience were amazing.

The flavors were out of this world! We had the Mango Coconut Shrimp and the Chicken Tikka app. We were practically licking the bowl clean with the sauce and flavors.

The naan bread was fluffy, the Chicken tikka masala was salivating and the Chicken Tandoori with the mint chutney sauce (not sure what it was) but it was DELICIOUS.

During our dinner I said this place tastes like the spice capital of the world because there were so many yummy flavors I never tasted before but now it will be my constant craving.

This was our first time and will not be our last because everything was perfect
.HIGHLY RECOMMEND because there is something on the menu for everyone.

P.S no one will judge you if you cross reference google images on items you are unsure about but the...
