Panera Bread — Restaurant in Town of Glenville

Had an absolutely horrible experience last night through Panera delivery where the food never arrived and then Panera kept telling me to contact DoorDash and DoorDash kept telling me to contact Panera. I had the original order reordered over the phone by DoorDash and then had to have that cancelled because the store ended up closing. I had to call back DoorDash and they told me once again to contact Panera - the number given to me redirected me to the Glenville store again where the woman who was working at the time told me again that I have to contact DoorDash ... then I could hear her talking with a coworker, giggling and saying I was "bugging out over DoorDash" and then they hung up on me. I called back twice and they ignored my call. I had to call DoorDash back and they gave me a completely different number to call than the previous agent had and I had to wait until this morning to finally call that number and get my refund. Rude workers. I will never order from them again and will proceed to the Balltown Road location...

The food is fine but the service is terrible. My wife and I usually like Panera and this location is five minutes from our home and we still go there as rarely as possible. Pretty much ever single time we go they get part of our order wrong. And not little things like they gave us bread instead of chips. Today I went and ordered a pick two with a turkey sandwich, Mac and cheese, and chips. I got broccoli cheddar soup and bread. I understand mistakes happen but this is every time, and that’s not an exaggeration. We’ve spoken with managers multiple times and they admitted they’ve had problems but nothing has changed. Last time they gave us two free meals to make up for it, and those orders ended up wrong too! I don’t think I’m being picky, it’s getting ridiculous. i try to give places a fair shot, especially because everybody has a bad day, but today was just my last time visiting this location. almost every order here has something wrong - missing or added ingredients, missing an item completely, or just the wrong item. today i got lunch through the drive thru and when i got home i realized that not only was the side i paid extra for missing, but my main entree was the entire wrong item - even though whoever “checks” the order receipts marked everything as correct. and of course, i’m never given a receipt when i visit this location so i couldn’t even go back to get my items corrected. it’s a frequent problem here and honestly the money spent is not worth hassle and frustration of taking a gamble on if your order will be right. do yourself a favor and skip going to Panera if you want to make sure your money is spent wisely and you actually get...
