This Restaurant has become very unprofessional. I came in to pick up a mobile order, Not only was it not ready when it was supposed to be but I was told just a few more mins, and THEN told "we have orders we need to get to our tables here first". Excuse me? So customers that order for pickup clearly aren't as important as the ones that come in??? Pretty sure the owner wouldn't be happy to hear that... Extremely unprofessional. You process orders in the order they are received. Particularly the ones that are already paid for. That's how you retain repeat customers. Smdh wildly disappointed
The menu changes so much here over the years that it's completely unreliable. To add insult to injury the staff has been very rude to third party drivers. I have witnessed this both as a driver and as a customer towards other drivers. Quite frankly they are lazy. I have placed personal orders and picked up orders from the bakery and they will make you wait 15-20 mins to get your order, saying it's not ready, when it's literally in the display case. Cut the damn pie, give me my order and let me get back to my life. Making me wait for my order doesn't entice me to spend more money here, it does the opposite. Furthermore it's rude to both the driver and customer waiting on the order if it's being picked up by a third party. Take some pride...
Read moreI ordered a takeout order via DoorDash for two slices of pie and some cookies. When arrived an employee handed me the sealed bag containing my order. Before I left I noticed the bag felt like it only had two items not three. I opened the sealed bag and yes, it contained one slice of pie and the cookies but the other pie was missing. I checked the receipt on my phone and the printed one on the bag and they both showed all three items. I went to the counter to let someone know I was missing an item. The same gentleman came up and without even saying anything he just tells me they were out of one of the pie. He did let me pick a replacement however I did ask him what would have happened had I not checked the bag/said something since I was charged for it. His response was that he thought I was a DoorDash delivery driver and they (Perkins) just has customers call DoorDash and advise they have a missing item(s). That answer is completely problematic to me. Would I have had to prove to DoorDash my order was wrong and then re-order and wait another 30-40 minutes? What if it was an actual meal order? Would you want to tell a family member we would have to wait an additional 30-40 minutes because our order is incomplete? Perkins needs to let customers know upfront or after placing an order that an item is not available, not just let them receive it short handed and...
Read moreOrdered food here through doordash and the service was very bad at this location. Did not receive everything I had ordered and the manager who handled my complaint tried to blame door dash. We didn’t receive the drink we ordered and the condiments that came with the meals such as syrup with the pancakes. The delivery driver can’t give us something they never received. We had to call them 3 times. On the first he told us to file a complaint through DD and we didn’t want to do that because it wasn’t the drivers fault and jeopardized them losing their job due to a mistake the restaurant made and then he hung up mid call. On the second call he tried to hang up but didn’t hang up all the way and he told his coworker to just hang up and he couldn’t help us because it had been a third party delivery. On the third and final call we told him what he did was incredibly rude and he told us that we must of had lost connection. We told him we heard him tell the other worker to hang up on us and that’s when he changed his demeanor knowing he had been caught in a lie. At this point it was no longer about the missing items but the fact that the customer service was not there and being the manager we had expected better.
