🔹Just the pros and the cons you decide.
🔹Pros- I’m happy that Appleton has incorporated a healthy style restaurant, with lots of fruits and vegetable options within their smoothies and wraps
I stopped in yesterday for the first time and tried a green detox smoothie. I purposely spoke with the manager to request something that does not have any added sugar. I selected the green detox which contains spinach and kale. Also a bit of pineapple, ginger and lemon it was simply delicious. The size, I believe was 32 ounces for around eight dollars which I think was fair. The taste was delicious and it was very lightly sweetened naturally. Just the way I like it. The staff was very friendly and thank you Kaylee for helping me select.
The restaurant is very clean and very bright and open. The staff is very friendly. They have a huge menu ranging from smoothie drinks to salads and sandwiches also wraps. I would be interested in going back next time to try a sandwich. Everything looks delicious.
🔶Cons- My only real concern with this chain restaurant is that they serve their smoothies in a Styrofoam container, which is not only dangerous to your health, but is horrible for the planet. Everyone knows Styrofoam does not break down and stays in landfills for hundreds of years.
Styrofoam was banned in many states including California back in the 80s and I can’t believe that a smoothie company who preaches health using fresh fruits and vegetables would actually decline their own beverages by sticking them in a toxic Styrofoam container.
I understand this is not the managers fault or the owners fault since whoever owns this restaurant bought the business from a conglomerate.
These are obviously the products used by the chain. However, whoever is reading this should pass along this vital information to the owners to stop using Styrofoam and instead simply use - recycled paper, which helps humans and helps the planet , just...

First time here. I got the detox island green smoothie and for my taste it's alright. I got a decent size given the price and it's only 190 calories. Which is good with me.
My total was $8.96 and proceeded to give the cashier at the drive through $10.96 to which I would get $2 back. To my surprise I got 1$ and some odd cents back. Didn't count the cents back because I was kinda put off by the interaction and it started to become uncomfortable for me. I'm 100% positive I gave them 96 cents in which I ask about the short change. They thought about it and replied I only have 91 cents, it's fine, and told me to have a good day. So I drove off because I didn't want to make both myself and the window person any more uncomfortable. It seems like they were already uncomfortable when I had asked about me getting short changed.
I don't care about the few cents, just the interaction of it all was off putting. Also, maybe for future use they should respond back to you how much cash you give them. It might help prevent uncomfortable situations like this. Since my short change was only a handful of cents I can just blow that off. But I just don't want other people to have this happen to them with more change than a...
Read moreThey just opened this location, it's right next to were I work, so I thought I'd try them out. I have heard good things about them. My sandwich was very good. The price was decent for 'fast food'. I gave 3 stars because not 1 person greeted me, no one had a smile or looked happy to be there. Dan (person who took my order) looked very annoyed he had customers. I watch Dan push a young girl out of his way so he could get to something, which I found very rude. She looked so scared. She couldn't have been more than 17 years old. I understand they just opened and are probably still training and working out the kinks, but a smile goes a long way! Made me feel...
