To be frank, it was amazing food but i was visiting with my sister, first time for me EVER being in newyork and im not a big city person, sure enough midway from JFK to our hotel in fishkill we needed to stop somewhere to eat. My sister has a gluten allergy and so it does kind of limit options. Sure enough midway to the hotel were starving and start searching for food near us. Rinis popped up and i called on behalf of my sister to ask if they had gluten free options, sure enough they did! However what stood out to me was the man on the phone. after confirming they did have gluten free options (while not a not a WIDE variety, still good selection for such allergys) he said one phrase " would you like to come?" And thats not somthing im use to hearing from a resturant, that felt like a invitation from a freind, not just some Bussiness trying to get you in & out. So i highly recommend this place, had the chicken parm with penne, amazing, and my sister had the chicken piccatta and roasted potatoes(its a potatoe flower). And they actually give you olive oil for the bread not just butter like most west coast italian....
Read moreIf you go on a Friday or Saturday night when the band plays music, be prepared to rock and roll. These older guys have some serious vocals. I just came from a funeral luncheon at Rini's. I have to say I haven't been here in over 30 years with another owner. The food was absolutely delicious. The staff was very helpful and kind. The owner is a lovely authentic Italian woman and speaks beautiful Florentine Italian. We had a great cold antipasto. We had a nice delicious salad with vinegar and oil. Some of the dishes that we had a choice to eat, chicken parmesan, grilled salmon, penne vodka, and chicken Marsala. For dessert we had tiramisu or pecan pie. Even the bread-and-butter was delicious. It's a friendly atmosphere. It's my firm understanding she has great lobsters here, so give it a try. She is open 7 days a week. My friends that I grew up with, highly recommend it and I had a delicious lunch and do did my mother, the sceptic. Go and enjoy Rini's on Tarrytown road in Elmsford, right at the juncture of the Saw Mill River Parkway. Even the bathrooms are in good shape. Nice bar and banquet room too...
Read moreWas at an amazing show the first time we were there. Dennis makes everyone feel welcome, plays great music, gets everyone involved in the fun,and had amazing singers with him. The food was fantastic. Mozzarella sticks that are definitely freshly prepared and incredibly tasty. Chicken Picatta was a perfect flavor combination of white wine and lemon, with an extremely generous portion of well cooked chicken. Fettuccine Alfredo was creamy, with fresh pasta and the astounding flavor that coated every single noodle. The Chocolate Cheesecake was to absolutely die for! The menu had an abundance of choices, and the prices extremely reasonable considering the cost of dining out recently. The entire restaurant is clean, and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming yet very classy as well. There is a large parking lot on premises as well. I would highly recommend Rini's for a date night or any family occasion. They are eager to please their customers. I don't think you could ask more from a restaurant, especially these days, when places as special as this seem to be...
