Okay, this is a trip! I'm a person who loves the Lord and I ask the Lord Jesus for signs. This is funny, trust me. I went to Blasdell pizza a few days ago and the pizza was AWESOME! I had 1 slice of regular pizza and the other slice was steak. The steak slice was up and over the top ( inmo ). Anyway, I was thinking of purchasing a whole pizza today and notice they have a special on Wednesdays. Awesome! I thought let's write a review as well. Okay so you read my review. Now on to the funny part. As I go to Blasdell Pizza's website I look at the very first picture taken by Thomas Zaprzal. Tom is my cousin! I couldn't believe it! We spell our names differently my last name is spelled Zapszal, the rest of our family is Zaprzal. For those curious. My Grandfather Chester Zapszal, who was from Poland said Zaprzal was the incorrect way to spell our last name so he went and legally changed it to Zapszal, because that supposedly is the correct way of spelling it. Either way, I still received my sign/confirmation from the Lord, and by the way I am Michael Zapszal who is also part of the Zaprzal family. It was just truly weird to ask the Lord for a sign(s), and there's a picture by Thomas Zaprzal. LOL! That...
Read moreMy aunt made a large order for delivery from this shop last week, as a treat for my family. She also had it delivered as an added convenience since we have a large family. The pizza was terrible even my kids thought it didn’t taste good. This is not my first terrible pizza from Blasdell pizza but I was hoping it was a fluke since it used to be good and we would order from there all the time. Not only did it taste off but the entire family felt sick after eating it. When my aunt called and complained the manager said “well I would have offered you a free cheese pizza but I guess you don’t want that since you’re never coming back”. Now let’s talk to the delivery man whom she tipped very very well in advance. It was a man who was old enough to know better who hassled my father to sign while holding a sheet and a large pizza. Why would you ask the man who was holding two pizzas and juggling a little kid to “come on sign it, just sign it?!” Sure it was lunch hour but give a man a minute. All in all do yourself a favor and go down the road to one of the...
Read moreNormally I have had wonderful service and food from this restaurant. Tonight, however, this was not the case. Although at first everything seemed fine, my whole sub was even wrapped in individual halfs for ease of eating this is where the experience went into the crapper. The sub roll was not toasted, absolutely no toast on the bread at all and the whole roll was spongy -- that's how you know the roll is not toasted. I did call the restaurant, because I wondered if I was supposed to ask for the roll to be toasted.....The young women (did not give her name, no matter I didn't ask, it was the voice of the woman I had ordered from at the store) I said my sub had not been toasted, and she said: "I made your sub, and made sure all the rolls were toasted" and then hung up on me. She did not let me ask anything, like how should I order to make sure the sub is right next time.....She just hung up. I have never had any problems at the South Park Ave Shop before, but just a heads up...maybe think of driving to the Route 20 address or go to...
