Edited to add: I visited this location again on 2/12/24 around 6pm to give them another try. The restaurant was absolutely filthy. Garbage overflowing, tables with food all over them, floors haven’t been swept all week. Again, just super lazy employees and the amount of employees this place has working at one time it should never run out of food or be a mess. The employees who take your order make you feel like you’re a nuisance. I got a salad and the employee making it gave me 4 pieces of wilted lettuce instead of taking a second to get a new bag. Also, the kid on the line gave me 5 kernels of corn instead of taking a second to refill it. Pure laziness. And the best part was the girl who cashed me out gave her friend in front of me his meal and drink completely for free, but as a paying customer she treated me like the garbage that is all over their floor. Also, she made it very known out loud that she hates her job and held a side conversation with the boys working the entire time she cashed me out. Then, chucked my meal into a bag that caused the top to open up and spill my salad everywhere. When I confronted her about it she said she didn’t do it. This place is a total disgrace and I will be contacting the health department and other county departments who need to be made aware of this situation.
I visited the Milestrip location in Blasdell, NY on 6/13/2022. This location is absolutely filthy and there is no management. Tables are never cleaned, trash all over the floor, trash overflowing from every garbage can, cupboards not wiped down, and the bathrooms are disgusting. The staff is lazy and rude. Even though they are all young kids, they have no work ethic and should all be out of a job. When I ordered my meal all 3 employees on the line had major attitude issues. I ordered a salad and when I went to check out I was made aware they were out of dressing AFTER my salad was already made. Who eats a salad without dressing? So, I paid for it and just threw it away. Honestly I didn’t want to eat anything from this place anyways with how dirty the front of the restaurant is, I can only imagine how dirty it is where the food is prepared. This place is a health risk and the health department needs to...
Read moreMixed Feelings at Chipotle Near McKinley Mall
I recently visited the Chipotle Mexican Grill located at 4405 Milestrip Rd, right near the McKinley Mall in Buffalo, NY. This location, like many others, offers a wide array of options that include burritos, burrito bowls, salads, and tacos. I appreciate their commitment to responsibly sourced and freshly prepared ingredients, which is a hallmark of the Chipotle brand. The convenience of personalized online ordering and catering services is also a plus, making it a go-to spot for many looking for quick and relatively healthier fast food options.
However, my experiences at this particular Chipotle have been less than satisfactory, especially when it comes to the cleanliness and the staff's attitude. Each time I've visited, I've noticed that the staff seems irritated, almost as if the presence of customers is a bother rather than the purpose of their job. This kind of demeanor is off-putting and not what I expect from a customer service perspective, especially when comparing it to my experiences at other fast-food establishments and even other Chipotle locations.
Cleanliness, or the lack thereof, is another significant concern at this Chipotle. Tables are often left dirty, with previous diners' messes not wiped down promptly or effectively. It's not just the tables, either; the overall appearance of the location feels disheveled, contributing to an unwelcoming atmosphere. For a brand that prides itself on quality and sustainability, this seems like a glaring oversight that needs to be addressed.
In summary, while I admire Chipotle's commitment to quality ingredients and their innovative approach to fast food, my experiences at the McKinley Mall location have been disappointing. The staff's demeanor and the location's cleanliness significantly detract from the dining experience. I hope to see improvements in these areas, as I believe Chipotle can offer a much more enjoyable experience consistent with its...
Read moreI really dig Chipotle. The menu is super simple, yet the combination of options could fit into the most pickiest of eaters appetite; plus, they're very accommodating if you want to make substitutions. I have never been disappointed with any of the food I've ordered there. The staff are always friendly and smiling, and they stay consistent with that even when dealing with the most difficult of customers. However, I'm not sure who to point fingers at about this, maybe I should just blame humanity overall. I work with disabled folks and enjoy taking clients there when I can. Except, one day I was there with a client in a wheelchair and it was quite obvious that I was having a bit of a struggle getting her and a tray of food out onto the patio, because I had to push the wheelchair too. Knowing that I am not suppose to leave my client unattended, nor did I want to leave the food unattended, I played a balancing game with the tray while trying to open the door and pull the chair out onto the patio. There were many people around, both staff and customers; but do you think anybody would lend a hand? Nope. Eventually we got settled at a table outside and one of the staff that had seen my struggle, but didn't offer help, escorted a young couple to the patio. Upon their arrival, the female glanced at my client and turned up her nose with what seemed like disgust. Luckily my client was too consumed by the food to notice, but I surely did. The couple ended up going back inside to eat. That was a major turn off, although it wasn't all chipotles fault, they certainly could have...
