All American Deli — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

I'm not going to lie here. I purchased a deli ham sandwich there. I ate the sandwich and got diarrhea right after consuming the sandwich at my clients house. I noticed the guy cashing using one glove like there were short on glove.. He would make the sandwich, then take the glove off one hand cash but the glove back on and continue to make other sandwiches. That is unsanitary and needs to be looked into. I purposely went to this place because they opened up near my home and I felt it is something we needed in town. Anyway, long story short it’s a small place and two people work there. One of those employees is a cashier and that’s all that she does. The gentleman preparing your food never gave off a sense of urgency to get everyone out as quickly as possible. I cannot deal with that kind of stress so I will not be going back I wish them all the best and thank them for opening up...

I’ve lived around the corner my whole life many delis have come and gone at the location and few have lasted. Growing up it was great to have somewhere to grab a quick lunch but this has been the best it’s been in decades.
