Charleys Cheesesteaks — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

This place should be shut down. I only hope that what happened to me does not happen to anyone else. I love Charley's and I went to this location because it's the closest one to my work place. I ordered a regular Buffalo Chicken sandwich for myself, and a separate order of fries for my CO worker. I received the sandwich but was waiting for the fries when I was told that the fries were in the same box as my sandwich. I then went back to the cashier and explained to him once again that I wanted the fries separate from the sandwich. He took back the sandwich and opened the box with no gloves on, and proceeded to remove the fries from the box and placing them in another. When I told him that I no longer wanted those fries, and asked for fresh ones, because it was unsanitary. The manager stepped in and told me NO. OMG Customer service sucks. I could not believe that the manage would take side with a worker that wants to give a loyal customer dried out fries. Fries that are tuff and all ends. Prior to my order I told the manager the same thing happened last week and I could not eat it. I was a loyal customer for years and purchased sandwiches and fries at least twice per week. I was in aah about the extremely bad customer service. I was wondering why, often times, there would be arguments from other customer but now I experience it of my own. Please read reviews. I could not believe that a manager would let the worker give a loyal customer garbage. The line cook at the end that packs the food YELLED at me and told me to “Get out of here” because I ordered to stay but asked for my order to go instead. I paid for my meal and he treated me like I was getting free food. I felt completed humiliated and upset by the encounter. I have never been treated like this for simply asking for a box and bag to take my food to go. The manager was absolutely useless. He offered no help and never presented himself as the manage until he was directly asked if he was the manager. He just stood in the background watching the whole thing happen.
