I went in on 01/12/2024 to order a sausage , egg and cheese, a plain everything bagel and I had two cookies. The lady who took my order said you will get a small coffee with the sandwich and explained that I was charge 3.59 additional for the cream cheese to be on the bagel which is 1.50 by itself. I received the bag and I had one sandwich and no coffee so i said where is the second sandwich she said only one , mind you she read the order back to me and explain that’s why I was charged $13.83 because of two sandwiches. I asked can another worker help me and the guy came over and said maybe she heard you wrong and people order stuff like that all the time it’s not weird. I said I never heard of people putting that all on one sandwich. I said I just want two sandwiches and proceeded to tell him the order. The owner joe came over snatched the receipt out his hand then opened the register and said here’s your receipt you can leave. I said because I wanted food he said you can go we don’t need to do business together. Very prejudice and I would never return nor recommend anyone to them . He was rude and nasty because I said the order was incorrect, I wasn’t nasty or rude to the workers I said I would prefer to speak to someone else so it wouldn’t get messed up again , he said it’s better if we never do business again. All that for a mistake with a sandwich sounds way more personal to Me. I wouldn’t never return even if he didn’t say that because I felt attacked and embarrassed in purpose. Then as I was parked in the front, mind you this guy joe was on the grill the entire time. He comes from behind the counter to start greeting all the white customers immediately after telling me to exit and never return because I was given a bacon,egg and cheese on a roll and a bagel with cream cheese all on one sandwich( that order doesn’t even sound correct. Not to mention he said take the food and your money , I said I don’t want that sandwich he said well I’m not making you anything else which at this point I didn’t want it anyway. I left the cookies on the counter and placed the sandwich on the counter as well and left. I can guess this business picks and chooses who they serve and the fact that he made the sandwich and said people make mistakes and said the worker made the mistake it seemed all set up to be honest. Nonetheless I will never return treat people better, I also had my toddler with me. I WAS NEVER OFFERED A NEW SANDWICH BECAUSE AS I TRIED TO EXPLAIN THE ORDER TO STAFF JOE TOLD ME TO GET OUT SO TO LIE ON A CUSTOMER BECAUSE YOUR STAFF JOE SEEMS TO BE PREJUDICE IS REALLY SAD, CAMERAS DONT LIE AND NEITHER DOES AUDIO RECORDING. The incident is on my phone with audio after I left and went back in to speak to joe and try to understand his decision he told me to still never do business with them as I was speaking to him calmly and professionally. So please do not lie. There are three sides to every story, my side, the stores side and the truth. I also called to speak to joe Sr which was not help because of course people will defend their family and business which is great but let’s not call it what it is. Your son is rude and then tries to pull the card as if I was angry if anything he was hostile without asking how the situation could be rectified he immediately said get out without offering another sandwich so that’s a lie. And how could they make a new sandwich immediately without knowing what I wanted because they never got to that point to know what I originally ordered. Again even after trying to speak with the owner he admitted I wasn’t rude to any of them and joe at as well they didn’t like I voiced my opinion about not wanting a wrong order and wanting to know what I was charged for ? Read moreThieves. Overcharged, gave wrong item, refused to redo and did NOT credit my card when I walked out with nothing in my hand. Bank said I should contact police. I went in a few days in a row and I got three scrambled eggs with Swiss cheese and spinach. It wasn't perfect, but acceptable. I paid about $8.79. Today the guy tried to charge me $11.50 for the same exact dish. He started giving me a really bad attitude and slamming the old fashioned cash register and saying, this would be even higher if I charged you by the egg. How dignified. I said well it's $3 more and he was really obnoxious, I was being very polite. I explained to the woman that I put the order in, she had a tremendously large rose tattoo on her neck, didn't get a name. I looked and it wasn't soft scrambled, it wasn't chopped, it was made like an omelet and it was rubberized, I don't like hard eggs. This isn't that complicated. She also gave me a very bad attitude and said: "what is it you want? What is it you want? It's an omelette." I told her I wanted a soft scramble, not an omelette. I also saw him cutting a bagel on a dirty table, and the four girls that came in before me that were from high were treated like garbage by the female. I'm not paying 12.00 for the the wrong order, refusal to correct it and a bad attitude. They also use styrofoam. These days are difficult enough without being abused, then stolen from when refusing to buy overpriced rubber eggs....

Before she returns to Florida, she will pack up a few dozen for the return trip! This bagel store is the best!The bagels are fresh and delicious and there is a wide variety of bagels and spreads as well. The staff is lovely and always very helpful, very well trained and they take care of their customers. The store is clean and there is plenty of parking in the back lot of the store as well. Joe, the owner is very generous and donates to many local churches and community centers and everyone is very appreciative.
