Cold Stone Creamery — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

I just left this cold stone and I was applaud at the sanitary conditions of this establishment. There were about 7 people working and only one of them had gloves on. There was a young lady wearing a gray sweat shirt that had no gloves on and every time she went to scoop Ice cream her dirty sleeves went directly in the ice cream each time . As you can see in the picture they packed the orders on the same cold plate table that they actually made your ice cream. Things just kept getting worse as I walked to the register. The young man that took my order wiped his dripping nose with his hand with no gloves on and continued to scoop ice cream out of the freezer with out washing his hands after. I will be calling corporate because the manager on duty looked like a teenager who could care less about the sanitary conditions. She was also making her ice cream orders right on top of crowded and cluttered cold plate that only ice cream should be made on. I immediately threw my order in the garbage and explained to my kids that what I saw was not sanitary and we went to another location. That location which was the same franchise did none of the things I saw in the first location. They all need to be re-trained because it was truly disgusting people can get really sick from the things I saw and that’s not right. People should be able to enjoy there food they pay for with out having to worry about getting sick from the lack of cleanliness that the...

I had such a great experience at Cold Stone Creamery! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a big smile and a friendly “Welcome in!” The staff here really make you feel like a valued customer, and they were so quick with my order. Normally, this place is packed (and with good reason), but they’re pros at moving things along without making you feel rushed. I think I was in and out in about five minutes—pretty impressive for such a popular spot!

That warm, sweet smell of fresh waffle cones hits you the second you walk in, and it’s just so comforting. The place is clean, lively, and well-organized, which makes the whole experience even better.

I went with my usual favorite, the Dulce de Leche ice cream with banana and graham crackers mixed in. The ice cream itself is smooth and rich, and the flavors blend perfectly—just the right balance of caramel sweetness with that fresh banana taste and a bit of crunch from the graham crackers. It’s such a satisfying combo and the perfect treat for winding down after a long day.

HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! I went in to order the largest container of ice cream and walked out due to how UNPROFESSIONAL those young ladies are. They DO NOT give you your money’s worth in ice cream. Specifically the young lady that was serving me, from the start she was very unfriendly and unprofessional. I told her what ice cream flavors I wanted, and she didn’t even ask me if I wanted toppings. She then proceeded to walk away. To make matters WORSE, the container fell from her hands onto the ground and instead of throwing it away, she placed it on the counter. The dirty container, she placed the ice cream scoop in it. And took that SAME DIRTY ice cream scoop and proceed to take out my ice cream. I became fused with anger and called her out on it, she denied it and continued. I told her I no longer wanted that ice cream. I left the store and went to Hagen-Dazs instead where I gladly spent my money. Those young ladies will bring down this new location. CHANGE your staff and TRAIN them on custom etiquette. This is my 3rd unprofessional experience and I will no longer be purchasing ice cream from cold stone again. You have...
