Found this place as a highly recommended joint by my cousin. He swears by Enzo’s and I see why. Their pizza can be absolutely incredible. I say can be because I have come here for quite a while now as I’m local, the pizza is super inconsistent. Either it’s perfection or on the other end. For example, I’ll buy a few slices and the slices got the crispy, and super flavorful. What you’d expect from a good NY slice. Then other days I’d go and the slices are bready and the texture is flat. It’s super weird. I’ve ordered individual slices and pies, eaten it there and take out and the same theme occurs. 50/50 either fantastic or let down. I will say, visually you couldn’t tell because it always looks spot on like it’ll be an amazing slice. Just sometimes the pizza texture just isn’t there, flavor is pretty consistent, actually. But for me texture is key. Prices are decent. Staff...
Read moreEverybody knows the rules, but just one bite at Enzo's is setting you up for disappointment because you're always, ALWAYS going to want more. The prior pizza shop that was in this location, Gallery, I would visit because of convenience (being down the block from my home). But since Enzo's opened, there's nowhere I'd rather eat. The prices are great, the food is unreal.
Ever have their burger? I stopped going to Burger Spot (a GREAT place on 7th in GC), because these burgers ended up being of incredible quality AND you get a better deal.. the milkshakes? unreal.
I've never had a bad slice, bad experience...sure, the guys are busy all day and maybe a little tired in the later hours, but never disrespectful. Ever work in a shop? I have.. i know what it's like and what they go through.
I'm waiting for barstool sports to make a visit. Good job guys..see...

However... none of the staff members wore masks, there was left-over grease on some of the eating utensils, and our in-house pasta order was served without bread (but our to-go order had bread). Okay, relatively small things, right? But the dealbreaker is that two of our orders of rigatoni ala vodka had pieces of hard, fibrous (and completely inedible) material mixed in. They appeared to be pieces of some sort of dried plant stem -- or at least I hope that's what they were. Whatever they were, they had no business being in rigatoni ala vodka. I wanted to like this place but I won't be returning: there are a dozen other pizza joints...
