We had a wonderful thanksgiving experience! We ordered by phone, and I paid in person ahead of time. Although it was Thanksgiving day and obviously busy, people were calm and cool and patient. That’s because of the energy coming from the staff. They gave each person their undivided attention, whether or not they were regulars or if the line was building up. That was greatly appreciated! I always wondered why some businesses didn’t treat new people with the same courtesy as the regulars- why would you return to a place that ignores you? The owner even stopped us when we were halfway out the door to make sure everything was right- we almost forgot the gravy! Every staff member was buzzing around, helping out, making things move as smoothly as possible.
As for the food- delicious! It definitely had a “home cooked” appeal to it. It wasn’t loaded up with salt like a lot of catered meals are. The Turkey portion seemed kind of small, and we weren’t big fans of the dark meat, but the sides definitely made up for it. The stuffing and sweet potatoes were the first to go! This will definitely be our new Thanksgiving tradition! Looking forward to ordering...
Read moreCame here with my boyfriend around 12 pm. I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese and he ordered a chicken cutlet sandwich. The workers were complaining that I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese. And said “who orders a bacon, egg, and cheese at this time” and laughed it off. If you didn’t want to make the sandwich you could’ve told me that you guys are no longer doing breakfast right now. When I received my sandwich the eggs weren’t fully cooked all the way. And gave me one strip of burnt bacon. When my boyfriend ordered his sandwich it was tossed in the microwave for two minutes. How do you open a deli and can’t even serve customers fresh food. How can you put a chicken cutlet that’s not even fully cooked in a microwave and sell it to a customer. How you people charging 13 dollars for a sandwich that is...
Read moreMale patron and owner in conversation across the room. Owner had mask off during the loud conversation. Patron seemingly well-known in the deli, kept his mask below his mouth and nose the whole time. Patron seemed to be waiting for someone to say some thing. Eventually patron walked behind counter where masked employees were preparing customer orders. All other customers were masked. No one said anything to the unmasked patron. This disregard for COVID pandemic precautions is utterly disrespectful, and it raises red flags regarding decisions made regarding sanitary conditions in the kitchen, food storage areas, and other places not visible to customers. If this is okay with you, the food and service has always been good, but I will no longer patronize this business. There are numerous area...
