Great Mexican restaurant and all around dining experience. I went here with some family for dinner over the weekend. When we walked in the dining room was packed, there were people sitting at the bar up front, and there was a band playing in the front by the entrance. The band played all night long - from the moment we walked in, and they were going strong while we were leaving hours later. We didn't have a reservation but we might've got lucky, it's probably best to make a reservation for a weekend dinner. The ambiance was exactly what I was expecting, a beautifully painted and laid out space, with decorations on the walls. The energy was high throughout the restaurant - every table was having a good time. The owner is always around and checking on guests. The food and drinks could not have been better. They have a full collection of signature margaritas, mojitos, and other cocktails. We got a ton of food for the table and picked at every plate. Every single dish that landed on the table was delicious and flavorful. I recommend the mixed ceviche and the tostones caribeƱos as appetizers. For entrees we had the mocaljete, shrimp mazatlan, enchiladas, and shrimp a la diabla. Delicious, big but not giant entree portions. And of course you can't forget about the flan for dessert. You have to stop by Escorza's! You won't be...

Absolutely Fantastic. The food is unbelievably good. In my opinion the best Spanish food on Long Island. I grew up in Miami I know about Spanish food. This place is better than some of the places I used to eat at. The owner Renee is Very friendly and will often come sit with you and bring you free drinks and appetizers. They have a band on the weekends. It’s just a really fun spot to hang out and have some Food and drink. The nachos are the best nachos I’ve ever had. Whenever you get nachos, there’s never enough of anything. Half of them have all the toppings and then the bottom half has nothing. Not here. Every single bite will have a little bit of everything and the steak is amazing. There’s just so much good food. The cilantro Is top-tier, Just everything Is fantastic. This is a great spot for a date, or to get out of the house and have some fun. It’s not like those stuffy boring restaurants. This is a really...

We tried Escorza's at the last minute. It had been a different Mexican restaurant a long time ago and figured we'd try it for my birthday. The place is neat and clean, the decor is charming. The staff is very nice and helpful. The food was just okay. The menu selections were just ok. My husband was looking for a combination platter and the only choice was a trio of tacos. I had the mole poblano and there were 2 pieces of chicken swimming in the mole sauce and a serving of rice. Taste wise, it was ok, presentation was uninspiring. We also shared some nachos as an appetizer which was okay. Dessert was flan, again ok, presentation was better. I almost feel bad saying it because the staff was very nice but the food was not inspiring at all. Maybe they'll change...

This was my first time at this restaurant. I’m not the one to even give bad reviews, but my experience was not expected especially from the good reviews I’ve read. We went on a Monday, it was kinda busy, we ordered frozen margaritas, and I didn’t even get it frozen. I didn’t even bother to let the server know because they looked confused and busy. We waited over 45 mins for our food which is unacceptable. Sadly to say, the food was definitely not worth the wait at all. I had high expectations too. The servers weren’t friendly either and never checked up on you, and also they don’t greet you when you enter or leave as well. The only nice thing was the atmosphere, aesthetic and the complimentary salsa and chips and the table side guacamole which was very delicious and fresh.

My husband and I went here for lunch one Friday afternoon and we liked it. I would pass on the wings. The chimichanga was good but did not come deep fried and it was covered in a cheese sauce. I think they forgot the Guac. Enchiladas Verdes was also good. The tomatillo sauce was nice but the chicken and the steak were both dry and I would have preferred the chicken had been cubed not shredded. Fully stocked bar. The piture of mango Margaritas was smooth and good. It was definitely four glasses plus! I loved the atmosphere! There were lots of things to look at in that huge space. They were cute items too.
