Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

So I’ve been going to this Jersey Mikes for some time now and I decided to start ordering online for easy pick up getting points etc and I’ve ordered 4 times on the App 2 of the times there’s been an issue, it has nothing to do with the App it has to do with the personell, I arrived early and my sandwich was being made and I watched in horror as the girl attempted to wrap my sandwich. I’m all in favor of giving someone a chance and letting them do it on their own to learn but if they’re just not getting it someone needs to show them how. But that didn’t happen and the picture is the result of sandwich when I got it home, I’m sure the training videos wouldn’t show this sandwich as something that would be acceptable to let someone leave the store with. In fact it should be used as a training aid in what not to do. Well I ordered yesterday and got the sandwich home and began eating it and said something is different?? Well when your sandwich is missing lettuce and tomato ( Included in Mike’s Way ) it’s gonna taste different. I placed a curbside order that gave me a 15 min window, I arrived early but did not expect my order to be ready earlier than estimated. Now this is one sandwich! I waited an additional 15mins until I got out of the car to get my food. A gentleman behind the counter said “oh sorry here is your order”. I got back to my car starving, ripped it open just to find that the bread was completely soggy and falling apart from sitting around so long. I kindly went in and asked for them to remake it. The girl behind the counter kindly said no problem. But when I received more order again, there was absolutely no oil and vinegar as “the Mikes way”. This is not awful, just extremely frustrating!!! Discovered this sammich shop when I was visiting Pittsburgh, because I was lookin' for a good sammich, and my Californian was fantastic!

I didn't realize that there were a few of these in my area.

I came to this location because it was the closest & most convenient. Shop is very clean and staff are very helpful, friendly & efficient. Got my Californian Cheesesteak + Sour Cream & Onion Lays. It was a sublime combo with my Mexican Coke, at home. My personal favs. Note that the Californian Sammich isn't listed on the in-store menu, however it's listed on their online menu.
