Kennedy Chicken grill kabab & Gyro halal — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

I felt very disappointed by the quality of the food. My family ordered fried chicken pieces, cheesesteak, gyro, chicken sandwich and cheese burger, with sides of fries. The chicken fried was the salty small wings you find at other local chicken places. They were very fried and the outside was super crispy and hard. I couldn’t eat much because of how salty the chicken was. I was excited to try the cheesesteak but oh man, minimal meat, tasted no cheese, had some bits of onions and green peppers and saw some mayo on the side.

I had Saads Philly cheese steak from Philadelphia, so I am very very disappointed as there is no comparison. Saads hand down was the best, hence they are so famous.

Back to my current review. Fries were like any other, and the gyro was normal. Nothing special. The customer service person was kind and respectful. Overall, this was a quit bite for the family and sadly we did not enjoy it...

I had high hopes for this place, but it was a big letdown. The fried chicken wasn't crispy – more like soggy and greasy, as if it had been sitting around for hours. The seasoning was bland, and the chicken itself was barely warm, which was disappointing given that it’s supposed to be their specialty.

The sides didn’t fare much better. The mashed potatoes tasted instant, the coleslaw was watery, and the fries were cold and limp. It seemed like they were trying to save money on ingredients at every turn. Service was slow and indifferent, and the staff seemed more interested in chatting among themselves than actually helping customers.

On top of everything, the place felt unclean – sticky tables, crumbs on the floor, and a general lack of care. For the price, I expected way better quality and service. I won’t be coming back here again, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for good...

Ok, this is a very interesting place...

Flavors are there, prices are RIDICULOUSLY low for the quality of food, most of the Mediterranean options of the menu are very, very good.

If I gave it 4 stars, is because it does not need to have such a big variety of American options, it could be cleaner, may be one more person attending is what they need, and I absolutely understand the "budget" thing, but with such a great quality I will suggest a little bit of "retrofit" to resolve some conditions that may not take too much effort to resolve...
