I visited the website prior to me calling my local restaurant however the website did not give me a clear description as to what were the differences between a personal size and a small so I called my local restaurant and let them know that I would like to order the works but I would like to know before I order it what was the difference between the personal size and small. The gententleman on the phone with a very strong Hispanic accent told me that the personal size came with six small slices I said okay that I would like to order a small pizza he then told me I could not place an order over the phone with him. I asked him to repeat himself as I was unclear as to what he was telling me. He told me that I cannot place an order over the phone like that, I then said like what? Can I not place an order over the phone with you? And he said that I had to place my order online. I have previously ordered from this location before and the order was placed over the phone so I was not sure why this has change. So I asked him do you guys and not allow orders to be taking over the phone and he then went on to say yes go ahead! go ahead! At this point I was unclear as to what I was being told first he said I could not place the order then he says I can place the order and is now rushing me to hurry up. I then told him I would like the works again and I would like it's small. He gives me my total and takes my name and that was the end of our conversation. I was feeling very uneasy as to why he was telling me that I could not place my order over the phone being that I was able to just do it so instead of having it delivered because of my suspicions I went to pick it up. When I got there I walked in and there was a Hispanic woman with brown hair and a Hispanic gentleman with black hair at the front desk no one greeted. Which was odd to me because I am used to being greeted when I enter into a place of business the woman was on the phone so that was understandable however the Hispanic male was on his cell phone he then walked to the back as I was staring him down waiting for him to acknowledge me as he continued his conversation. After hanging up he ask a girl who came in right after me what was her name and gave her her order then asked me my name and gave me my order. I paid and left. He did not ask me if I would like a drink dessert breadsticks nothing I was honestly shocked because there was no conversing between us during this transaction and I am used to having friendly encounters with employees of places of business I support. I could have easily went to the Italian restaurant further down the street and being treated like a queen rather than coming to this local location where I felt that because I was not Hispanic was rushed out the door to be done with me. I say this because as I was waiting for the Hispanic gentleman to acknowledge me I noticed he took a phone call and was very patient and polite and used a very calm tone which was not the one that was used with me I'm not sure if it was because of my presence and maybe he realized who I was and that I was upset as to why he was trying to put on a front as if he is this great Papa John's employee but that was not the case with my experience. I did want to inform Papa John's that I was highly to dissatisfied with the customer service, I was highly dissatisfied by with my interaction and was told my food would be ready in 15 minutes I arrive there few minutes early to talk to a manager and when I got there my food was already done so I'm not sure if that was some things that was already there or if this location is just extra fast however it did not look the freshest so...
Read moreI rarely order pizza, but I do enjoy Papa John's pizza and the fluffiness of the crust, it's unfortunate to say that this experience wasn't as I expected it to be, the delivery was very slow, on the GPS it shows 8 mins away so I'd say 15 minutes tops would be the logical ETA. Once I got the order, things from the receipt were missing in this case the 2L mountain dew soda, on top of that I had to call to make sure if I'm getting my soda before the driver gets far, almost 20 mins later when my dad and me are almost done eating I call once again to check up, and I mention jokingly to make sure it's a mountain dew and not something else ---what do I get ? Sierra mist. -__- I'm not the one to usually complain... but hopefully Papa John's local business on Guy Lombardo Freeport , sees this and try to make a change, on being more ready and/or aware of the items ordered. If you're already taking a long time .. then spend an extra minute checking on the items ordered. If a mistake occurred give a coupon out or something to maybe turn a bad customer experience into an honest mistake -- which we can all learn from. *...

First off, i have no idea how the Department of Health rules work here, so i asked in a nice way for their grade because it wasnt on display and they just shrugged their shoulders.. i have the manager cmplaining about her love life while the phone is ringing! and noone cares to answer it.. then more customers call and this one girl asked " whats the problem " and the customer had said its not here , and she snapped back with " well sir we knocked, its not our responsibility to stay there, now you're going to have to wait another 45 mins " and HUNG UP THE PHONE..
Mind you , i was blocks from the store, so i decided to call to have it faster when i arrived, but she put me on hold , until i got to the place!
