Pizza Italia NYC — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

Pizza Italia is our favorite pizza spot! We have moved to Seaford just about a year ago and were so thrilled that there was a new pizza place opening up right in our neighborhood! And trust me, they do not disappoint! We go often for Pasta night Tuesdays, get catering for our events, and also for a bite for either lunch or dinner on our walks! All the slices are amazing, but especially the triangle grandma slice is the best. My wife and I for pasta night get the cavatelli pesto and the baked ziti and it is always cooked to perfection! Anthony and the team there are phenomenal, always welcoming with a giant smile. They make you feel like home and you can feel the love that they put into making their food! 100%...

Unfortunately don’t have a picture, but ordered a regular pie 1/2 arrabbiata and half of that with pepperoni. Excellent taste and presentation. The crust had great flavor and was crispy. There was just the right amount of cheese and sauce on both sides. The regular slice tasted great and that shows me it’s a good place. We ordered a pie for pick up, but wound up staying and eating. The place was clean and comfortable. The counter guy asked if I wanted a side of sauce with my garlic knots and didn’t charge me. The garlic knots were full of garlic and flavor. Got tired of the regular pizza places by me that I ordered from for years. Some sold to new owners and just aren't the same, others changed ingredients unfortunately considering it's hard times. And I haven't been back to any of them since. These guys showed up several times on Google search for pizza, decided to grab a pie from them tonight. Was not disappointed! Great regular pie, looking forward to trying more of the menu. If you live in the south wantagh/Seaford area, give em a try.
