Might want to avoid this one unfortunately! There is usually a minimum standard of service that Starbucks will uphold. However, the staff at this Starbucks appeared as if they were running a middle school refreshment stand at a jazz band concert and had no idea how to do anything or what anything was called. I had to repeat my order 7 times to 2 different people. It went something like this- “Hello, I’d like a tall Machiato and a half pound of the Rwanda reserve.” Pretty simple. The cashier looked at me like I was speaking gibberish. Once I paid, my order was forgotten and I had to “reexplain” what I was there for after receiving looks that said “who are you why are you standing there” Uhhhh....I want coffee you nit!! When I arrived I was 3rd in line. Took 30 minutes to get my drink from the time I got in line. Ended up with a latte instead.

I work from different Starbucks locations several times a week, and this one has friendly staff and plenty of seating, which makes it a good spot to get work done. However, the bathroom cleanliness is hit or miss. Today, I asked for an ice water and was told I needed to make a purchase to get one. I pointed to my table, where I already had a drink and my laptop. This has never been my experience at any Starbucks in the last six years. If there is now a charge for water due to inflation, I believe it would be more helpful to communicate that clearly rather than requiring a purchase. This experience was disappointing, and I hope Starbucks provides more consistency in its policies across locations.

Been coming to this specific location for a few years now , out of every Starbucks I’ve been to, all around NYC/Long Island, even the Starbucks I visit on my travels cross country, in other states etc, hands down this is the best location I’ve yet to go to. The staff is exceptionally friendly , accommodating, and welcoming. I’m greeted by my first name as soon as I walk in the doors. I’m Always greeted with a smile and have even been asked about how my dogs are doing, when they aren’t even with me. which means they listen to and remember their customers. Figured it was time to leave a review cus they deserve all the good reviews! 💜

This is definitely one Starbucks to steer clear of because they are insensitive, dispassionate, and extremely slow. Though I only came in for water, I had to wait almost 15 minutes. I came in for water because I was feeling faint and needed to take my medication. After 6 min, I asked about the holdup of my water. I was told that I "had to wait for it to be made." Okay......yes, there were others in front of me, but I noticed that the cashier kept putting drinks in front of mine (at least 7 drinks!)!

One employee came and moved my cup, which by then was just sitting by itself, but she just moved it out of the way and grabbed another cup that needed a mixed coffee drink. Sigh I asked her the reason she kept doing that and told her that I really needed the water. The cashier pushed her statement that "It needed to be made") regardless of needing to take my meds. By that point, I was leaning on the counter because I felt severely lightheaded. Needless to say, she did not care, and I informed her that I felt that way.

Regretfully, Manuel is the only person's name that I remember because he was in front of me. I also told him (2x) that I felt faint, needed water for my meds, and told him that the cashier kept putting drinks in front of my water. Manuel did not seem to care either because he looked at me, shrugged his shoulders, and kept pouring drinks. Maybe if I used my Starbucks card and not asked for water, which is free, they would have paid attention to me.

However, I digress......Manuel responded to me once I said his name and told him that I was going to put my experience in writing. It is interesting that he didn't respond when I told him that EMS will have to be called if I don't take my medication but responded to my promise of writing about my negative experience! HUH???

So...... Starbucks' workers care more about their reputation than customers who may be ill? I guess they need to shut down for more than diversity training!

I have been patronizing Starbucks for over 20 years and have never been disregarded and treated with such disdain and indifference. Let me repeat: 15 MINUTES FOR WATER!!!! This is my first experience with Starbucks' employees who are nonchalant, heartless, and downright apathetic! They don't have to worry about me or anyone I know coming there. Considering their unresponsive and phlegmatic attitudes, they probably would not even care!

I hope the District Managers read their reviews because it is obvious they need some in...

Today at 11:45AM, I stopped by Starbucks to get breakfast. There were 4 people ahead of me and there were two cashiers. They both took everyone in front of me and when I was next in line, they both started taking orders. The barista SARAH literally saw us waiting for a couple minutes and did not acknowledge us until the manager took our order which I didn’t know the manager until I asked to speak to one. As soon as he took our order, she jumps back on the register and takes everyone else on the line. My partner even witnessed that and said did you see how she took everyone’s order but ours. I am a POC and everyone else was white. I did not appreciate the wait and no acknowledgement when we came in. I’ll rather stick to my Merrick location or Bellmore. I will not step foot here again. Sarah was not attentive and instead displayed she was racist and only catered to whom she wanted to address. I will also be calling...

Not the first time my mobile order wasnt ready when the app said it would. Most times, it's being done after people on line who order normally receive their drinks. I may as well just come in and go on line to order my drink. I may even receive my order faster that way. I once ordered something they sold out of and came in to find an empty cup with a note written in sharpie on it that they had sold out and to go to the register. However that's not my problem. My problem is that you'd think they'd make my replacement order right away considering they sold out and didnt make it unorderable on the app. Nope, I waited about another 10 minutes until they completed all the orders in front of me. Even though I had ordered about 8 minutes before that.....they should really work on a better system for mobile orders because its beyond frustrating...
