First time here on a Thursday night with my girls and we were excited to try this place after seeing the Grubfather rave about their Naans. Walked in and not a single soul was there. 2 young men were taking care of us throughout the night. We did get there a tiny bit late around 8:30/8:45ish. However, we already checked Google and the Instagram page about hours and it clearly shows 10:30 is closing time. So we weren't feeling rushed at all. Ordered the Chicken Tikka and cheese Naan and it was not at all what we expected. Very thin pieces, couldn't taste the chicken, barely any cheese. Kind of disappointing. We ordered Papri Chat, (wanted to share among 3 people, waiter said 2 orders would be better, could barely finish the 1st order so no 1 is good to share among 3 people) could have had more raata sauce on it as it is already a dry dish. An order of the veggie Samosas were good. We ordered the butter chicken which I was really excited for. My friends enjoyed it but I thought it tasted pretty bland. I've had better. I did enjoy my meal to say the least however what ruined the night was when the waiter started shutting everything down at 9:50 and at 9:55pm literally shut the lights off on us and left us in the dark as we were still eating our food. We asked them if they were closing and he said yes, however it wasn't even 10pm yet. We asked if they closed at 10:30pm and he said "no it's 10 but don't worry take your time." Maybe change your hours if that is accurate? Also maybe don't turn the lights off and shut down the whole place while customers are still eating and trying to enjoy their food. That was extremely disrespectful and a...
Read moreWe came here for a birthday brunch and were pretty impressed with the restaurant.
Ambiance: The restaurant is very big and can clearly accommodate big groups. They have booths as well as tables. It's cute as they've created a nice flower wall for pictures. They also have a nice outdoor area.
Service: Everyone was very friendly and nice. Service was fairly fast too
Food: We chose to order off the menu instead of the buffet. We've found that in general buffet food is average so as a family we tend to avoid those. I liked the way the menu was organized by vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Their appetizer menu is quite extensive and had a lot of great choices. The entrée menu was the typical options that you'd expect to see. They did have a lot of bread options which is always a plus.
Appetizers: The appetizers were amazing and on point. We got the chili paneer and veg spring rolls. Apps were well flavored and seasoned. I do wish we had gotten more of the appetizers after having tried these.
Entrees: We got the paneer bhurji and malai kofta. We were very disappointed with these entrees as the items were quite bland. The naan was also only half cooked and you could tell it was raw in places.
Overall, I'd come here for a drink and appetizers but wouldn't come for a full meal again.

Read moreI am deeply disappointed by my recent experiences at The Royale, and it has failed to meet expectations on multiple occasions. My initial visit was marred by a significant delay in service, although the quality of the food somewhat redeemed the experience, encouraging a return visit.
However, my latest experience was even more disheartening. We arrived at 8:45 pm to find the restaurant nearly empty, save for a children's birthday party. Our appetizers arrived promptly within ten minutes, but our main course—a straightforward order of four chicken biryani`s—never seemed to come. After waiting for over an hour, we learned from a waiter that our order had been forgotten entirely by the waitress.
Forced to take our order to-go due to the late hour, we were further disappointed to discover at home that the biryani was mixed with plain white rice, diverging from the authentic dish we expected and tasted based on previous visits.
Such recurring issues with service and quality are unacceptable. It is imperative that The Royale improves its operational efficiency and staff training and replaces it with more qualified and coherent workers. Forgetting to submit orders is beyond unacceptable. This will be my last visit to this...
