Villa Formia — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

I placed an order for Chicken Parm entree on Uber Eats, it allows you to pick 2 items with the entree. I picked linguine and a side salad. I also ordered an order of garlic knots. When the ordered arrived there was no linguine so I called the restaurant, the guy that answered the phone simply said Uber Eats is wrong you get either or not both. I said well then I want the linguine instead and he just said Uber Eats is wrong. I then said thank you and hung up and then realized I did not get the order of garlic knots I paid for. Luckily Uber Eats credited me the order however my issue is with Villa Formia not offering to correct the issue, just blamed it on uber Eats. And to make matters worse on piece of the chicken was do chewy I could not eat it. I will not be ordering...

This was a good looking place, pizza's were all well displayed and there were a few pies to choose from. Cheese, pepperoni, Margherita even a chicken salad pizza. I'm going with the Margherita here. This slice looks great but it was very upsetting to see the basil they put on this. It was extremely dry, sad looking. Unorthodox for me but I plucked every single piece of it off the pizza which crumbled to the touch. The sauce was very good like authentic homemade Italian, the mozzarella cheese was the stand out here , This was some seriously good cheese. Enjoyed the dough on this too , minor char excellent taste. The crust was a great finisher nothing left behind, just right crunchy. This could've been a 5 star but that Basil and it's lingering taste on the pizza...

I live across the street and order pretty frequently. Its convenient and the foods OK. They are always rude on the phone but the "lady" behind the counter called my husband an ass as soon as he paid for the order and was leaving. Telling a co worker "this ass can't even speak English" he's from the carribean. We called the manager who didn't seem to care. Well gigantes tastes better and they are always kind. That lady needs to be fired. She has also been nasty to my children when they come in, but never me. So, IMO...they are rude AND racist!!!!! Terrible business!! I wish I could give them negative starts, that's not how you treat...
