I happened to be parked across the street when I saw this gem. I don’t know why I went in but I’m so glad I did. First I was greeted by the wonderful owner Sheila. Someone cancelled just as I walk in ( thank you lucky stars) and she was able to accommodate me. I was given a pedicure with leg massage by the young lady working with Shelia whom I forgot her name my apologies.She asked me how I liked the water temperature. She removed every rough spot and callous. My pedi was so pretty I was in love with my feet. I can’t stop touching my feet.The massage was splendid. I brought my own color from Deborah Lippmann. She approved the quality , wouldnt allow me to use my no name cheap base and topcoat ( that’s what professionals do ).She only uses top quality OPI, ORLY, Essie, etc products. No acetone was used to thin products . I selected a color for my manicure, the young lady suggested an accent color be applied to the ring fingers and it came out beautiful. They are PROFESSIONALS. They want your feed back. They want you happy. The prices are a tad higher but I was totally satisfied (That was the first time ever)Let’s face it the industry is saturated with the unethical. It is such a pleasure to go to a spa and not wonder what tricks they are up to this week. This is now my new nail spa.I was in my car and no acetone smell on me or my hands, I couldn’t believe it. I was looking for a place to do my nails and treat my mom. I found this salon on google and the reviews were good. I did not have an appointment but nonetheless Marie was very nice and said she would take us. The salon is in a great location, the room is comfortable and easy to find. We waited for a bit before receiving service but this was actually a good thing - we saw Marie really take her time with her client and focus on doing a good job. My mom who can be picky got to go first and she did a mani and pedi. She absolutely fell in love with Marie. She was very gentle and attentive to my mom's needs and did a great job with her mani-pedi. It was late and I was exhausted so this time I made an appointment for my sister and I for the following week. We ended up chatting a bit more during that appointment and she really is a lovely lady. We both got mani and pedis and were both very happy with how they turned out. I don't particularly enjoy having my feet touched (lol ticklish) but Marie was very patient. Overall, there are a lot of positives about this salon and I have no negatives to report. We have become regulars and I absolutely recommend. She takes her time so bring a good book or a movie. This was by far the worst nail place I have ever been to in my entire life. There was only one woman in there working & one customer she was helping when I arrived. I had a 2pm appointment and it is now 5pm and I just got home. I am at a loss for words. The woman messed up multiple times and goes “I don’t know why that happened”, every color I picked there was none left in the bottle, it seemed as though it was her first day ever doing nails. Not once did she apologize about taking 3 hours to do powder on my nails. I have gotten powder done in 20 minutes before. That appointment was unlike any other place I’ve ever been to I left there beyond upset. And to top it all off, there machine to pay didn’t work, so I had to wait at the end of my appointment so the woman could call someone to get an email for me to zelle someone. I am astonished.
