Donna Marie's Gluten Free Bakery — Restaurant in Town of Henrietta

I can't possibly say enough good things about working with Donna Marie's. I've had many delicious baked goods from Donna Marie's, but we recently partnered with them for our wedding. I have several allergies, and the same goes for a number of guests we had at our reception, and it was a huge joy and relief to be able to provide cake that not only met my dietary needs and the restrictions of our guests, but also cake that was so freaking tasty! Everyone--restrictions or not--was raving about these cupcakes. They are some of the best cupcakes I've ever had, it blows my mind that they are free from allergens. We had several flavors, and Donna was incredibly thorough and patient with me going through all the finer details as we made our selections and coordinated the delivery with our venue. We also got to do a sampling to pick our flavors, which was a really fun part of the process. My family absolutely loves this bakery! Ever since my son was diagnosed with celiac disease, this has been our go-to place for baked goodies. Everything is delicious, from the cakes, to the cookies, and their other special items. I am not gluten free, nor do I have diet restrictions. I love getting their cupcakes as a treat, just because i really enjoy them. Then, i will pick one up for my son too. It is a win-win for us! Mostly, we drop in for the occasional cinnamon roll, cupcake or seasonal cut-outs. We have ordered 3 cakes, thus far. They will make it exactly how you want it and the cakes are beautiful! We are NEVER disappointed! It can be a little pricey, but it comes with the territory of dietary restrictions. But, you get what you pay for and everything is top notch quality. I love having a place to go to with safe gluten free options and not having to worry about cross contamination. They put all their heart and love into everything. This rating is NOT due to the quality of the bake goods. I have always enjoyed them. My disappointment is the HOURS of the bakery. I live over an hour away and I own a small business, but would definitely make the drive to pick bake goods up from this bakery. I am only off Sundays and Mondays so it makes it very difficult to be able to get to the bakery when they are open. At one point someone there told me I could place an order and pick it up on a Monday. This apparently is not true. I tried calling to place a potential $200 plus order and was told I could pick it up on Saturday or Tuesday during normal business hours. This really upsets me due to the fact I do have celiac’s disease and it is very difficult to find things that I can eat. I was willing to pay for it over the phone, and then all they would have to do was hand me the order. Soooo...
