đ Overall Verdict: Shake Shack in Henrietta brought the heat with a fresh take on the classic burger battle. This isnât your average fast food â itâs like fighting a boss with upgraded gear: higher quality, sharper flavor, and a clean, modern arena that makes the whole experience feel next level.
đĽ The Breakdown:
Right off the bat, the burger stole the show. The patty was juicy, perfectly cooked with that nice sear, and nestled between soft, buttery buns that didnât get soggy too fastâa common fast-food pitfall avoided here. The ShackSauce added just the right kick, balancing creamy with tangy, elevating the whole bite.
The fries? Crispy and golden with just the right salt, holding their crunch even as you dive into the meal. Not soggy, not blandâdefinitely a worthy sidekick.
The service was on point. Staff kept the line moving but never sacrificed friendliness. They checked in with a smile, confirmed the order, and made sure everything arrived fresh and hot.
The atmosphere at this Henrietta location feels fresh and inviting. Clean tables, modern decor, and a casual vibe thatâs perfect for hanging out solo or rolling deep with your squad.

The staff is friendly and quick, making it a smooth experience every time. The vibe inside is clean and welcoming, perfect for grabbing a bite with friends or solo. Definitely my go-to when I want a tasty, no-fuss burger that hits the spot!" â Sarah M.
đ Critical Review: "I usually enjoy Shake Shack, but my last visit to the Henrietta spot was a bit disappointing. The burger was good but arrived lukewarm, and my fries were soggier than usual. The place was clean, but the wait time was longer than expected, especially for a fast-casual joint. Staff seemed a little rushed, which affected the service vibe. Still love the menu, but this visit didnât quite live up to my usual expectations." â Mark T.

Read moreI want to start off by saying I was in customer service (retail) for more than 10 years, I hesitate to write this but if I were the manager- Iâd want to know.
Some of the employees there seem nice but the ones I interacted with⌠were beyond rude. The first thing that happened was some off duty (Iâm assuming) employees cut me in line. It is very loud in this restaurant due to the concrete floors and the group of about 4-6 off duty employees were so loud I could not hear the woman at the register. Speaking of the woman taking my order seemed annoyed at me and was very short, I think she was a bit annoyed she was serving me and not her co workers maybe a bit peeved I slipped in before another co worker from the group could cut me again. When I made a correction to my order (I asked for sauce) she seemed annoyed about it. She also didnât actually correct my order correctly and I had to ask for my sauce after getting my order.
After placing my order the group of off duty employees hung around the place where you pick up your food (their on duty coworkers actually tried to get them to move as they were blocking the whole counter) and continued to be very loud (a group of teen girls who ordered before me were clearly also uncomfortable) I went about my business and waited for my food on my phone ignoring them, however at one point one of the woman in the group let out a very loud laugh? Shout? startling me and causing me to look over at her (again concrete floors it echos) the woman saw me glance over at her and pointed out that I looked and posed/taunted me with her friend. Again these were employees who I am assuming were getting food on their break.
I feel bad since it seems like a fair amount of the other employees work hard and are nice, the guy that brought me my food and corrected my order was very nice! I have been in a situation where I had obnoxious co workers and it sucks. I really feel for them.
The food was alright, not quite the quality of shake shack Iâve had before. It also took a VERY long time but it was Saturday so that is expected. If youâre looking for a burger in this area that is actually really good where the employees wonât cut you in line or taunt you I highly recommend...
Read moreI was really excited that Rochester, New York finally got a Shake Shack, so I decided to check it out. When I arrived, I was casually greeted, but after struggling to use the tablet for a special order, I approached the counter. The staff member behind the counter greeted me with a simple âhelloâ without asking how I was doing. I took the initiative to ask her, and she curtly replied âfine,â maintaining minimal eye contact throughout our interaction.
When my food was placed on the counter, I asked her if that was mine. Instead of a clear verbal confirmation, she pointed to the number on the bag corresponding with the number I was givenâa number I couldnât clearly see from a distance. I didnât appreciate the attitude; perhaps she was having a bad day, but this small exchange added to an overall lackluster experience.
After placing my order, I visited the womenâs bathroom and discovered a major oversight: there was no toilet paper in the stall. I ended up having to use the toilet seat protector covers as a substitute, which was quite frustrating. I informed the same staff member about the issue, and while she acknowledged it with an âOK,â she then proceeded to watch TikTok videos with a coworker at the front counter rather than addressing the concern.
After a short wait, I received my food and headed to my car. I have to admit, the burger and fries were deliciousâthe fries were crispy and well-seasoned, and the burger was satisfying, even after about 15 minutes. However, the overall experience was marred by the indifferent customer service and the basic hygiene oversight in the bathroom.
Shake Shack Rochester has great potential, especially with such tasty food, but these initial issues with customer interaction and facility maintenance need to be addressed to truly deliver the quality experience...
