Hobby Lobby is the altar at which faux Christians bow to capitalism and primarily imported junque....call it junque, and one can charge the maximum suggested retail price. Don't get me wrong. There is SOME good stuff for sale, and some of the associates actually became friends, but once the company got rid of the 40% off coupon claiming that prices would be fine tuned to create savings for people across the board, I knew it was the proverbial smoke up the rear end, and have rarely been back since. The fact of the matter is that they were used over the wording in their coupon, realized they could still move rubbish at full price, and never brought it back. I've watched for decreased prices, and that simply did not occur. Prices are the same retail as at other stores. Consider how items that have the price printed on the packaging by the manufacturer. It's full price. And all the Christians salivating at the prospect of the US becoming a theocracy along the lines of a Christian Iran, you're welcome to support them. Myself? I choose not to be fund a company who has a Bible Museum outside, of all places, that well-known "religious capital" Washington D C., or a company that feels the need to steal artifacts from foreign governments out of religious zealotry....as if the "end justifies the means". To me, Evangelism in its purest form is leading by EXAMPLE...deeds, etc. rather than trying to impose one's beliefs. Humans have free will to sin or not sin. Hobby Lobby soon impose their views on the country just to claim numbers in some sort of mass conversion.to score points with God. It reminds me of the Crusades where people were threatened with death unless they "converted". Does each forced "conversion" count in the Green (corporate owner) family's mission to make the country Christian? I remember that during the beginning of the Pandemic, Hobby Lobby forced its employees to work because they were deemed "essential workers" (....necessary to sell the glitter that is the lifeblood keeping humanity alive?) The founder called his wife Barbara "the prayer warrior" at this time, as if that was going to solve everything. Maybe faith was an element, but an observation that one devout person now deceased once shared with me "pray in one hand and 'evacuate your bowels' in the other, and see which fills up more quickly. Let's be realistic folks. The Lord helps those who help themselves, and not "helps themselves to the detriment of others". As a Christian, excessive amounts of possessions and unnecessary acquisitions are a...
Read moreI would have given them less stars if this one associate hadn’t have stepped in. Her name is Trish and she is AMAZING. !!! She took right over and helped me with my return. Absolutely the nicest and sweetest woman ever. CANT say enough about her. They need to make her store manager. When I walked thru the door the actual store manager was the first person I interacted with and he was short and rude with me. He seemed irritated and mad I was making a return and as I’m explaining my situation cause I had a few questions about the r return process he was walking away as I was in mid sentence and just kept telling me to go to register one. And the next interaction was even worse. He made me feel so uncomfortable and it made me feel like I was annoying him and that he was mad. Def ZERO customer service skills!!!! A manager like that would almost make me never shop there again !!! So thank you Trish for stepping in and stepping up to help me and make me feel like it wasn’t me that it...
Read moreI noticed as I walked in, were all sorts of furniture displayed especially a small table with 4 chairs. Very sturdy construction. I went back into paints and saw a sale on acrylic paints. I bought a bunch of them to do an acrylic pour. In the paper section more paper, either single sheets or packets of paper. Huge selection from holiday themed to color schemes or different colors and different hues. Lots to see! I saw a lot of crosses in many designs, one made with nails. Many pictures, and decor items in different styles to grace your walls. Going into the store, one set of doors, you have to open; but, the inner doors slide open. Isles are wide and level. If someone needs to have help getting something down, just ask and someone will be glad to get it for you. It is worth your while to take a...
